I was there today, pretty lame event.
The jerseys aren't THAT bad.
They could have been better, but they also could have been a lot worse IMO.
I like the white jersey, with the front and back tails.

They showed a couple little videos, game 1 against Dallas, and some of the canucks working out in the gym talking about the city. Nothing too exciting, the lineup for hotdogs and coke was too long so a lot of people skipped that.

I'll have to agree. At first I kept thinking to myself, "I don't know...."
But the more I look at it, the more I think I actually like it. I think the jersey looks a bit unfinished, but overally it's pretty decent.. Again I think it's grown on me.

You know if you break it down in to small pieces I see it differently. It is strange.
I really like the number/letter font.
I like the colours of the logo.
I like the origianl colours.
I like the vintage logo on the shoulder even the new style (thick stick)
I dont mind the horizontal stripes.
On the website the VANCOUVER over the logo looks nice
BUT BUT BUT
when you put it alllllllllllllll together it is a huge dissappointment!
It is bizzare.

hmmm so far the blues look hideous, but perhaps it is just the initial view of it. Liked the traditional vintage though its just that whale... can't stand it (and the VANCOUVER looks way too busy). Tried to do a search, anyone have a decent pic of the whites they could post?
Someone on the forum that used the RBK design and old vintage logo and shoulder logs in the whites looked great - funny how a fan can design a better loking jersey for free and some time on photoshop, but for a million this was the best some firm could come up with... and it was approved...
sigh... perhaps it will grow with time, the whites anyhow - the blue is just too busy with the added text and that crap corporate whale... damn I wish they went with the one posted by the fan on these forums (I think it was pziefers original offering... cannot recall now)
