For those who say "They'll grow on you", I disagree. My opinion is that when you see them, your not suppose to be like "Ill get use to it". Thats not a really good sign of a successful jersey.

When you see it, you should either like it or you dont.

i acualy love these new jerseys. i would of liked johny canuck or sumthing different but if the orca has to stay then im ok with it. then again i also like the V jersey so my taste is probaly different then every1 els. lol

I love the new jersey, the retro colours and the current logo, a nice blend of old and current. I'd love it more if the "VANCOUVER" across the chest was GONE. Most people know who the Canucks are and where we're from, do we have a problem with the rest of North America not knowing? Heck, I've met people in Europe who knows who our hockey team is.
Also I think if the orca had a little more colour injected into it than just being plain blue or white. reminds me of the old Calgary flames jerseys with the White flaming C which they finally did away with with much fanfare.
Otherwise I like the direction they went, i think they should have given the fans some options to vote on, after all, we're the ones who would wear it proudly. i wont be buying one because I have no need to wear "VANCOUVER" screaming at everyone

OK, I hear you, there will always be 1 person who doesn't like something. But I'll go out on a limb here and say that the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of Canucks fans LOVED these jerseys and the Canucks were so stupid not to get these as their primary jerseys.

VANCOUVER is a great marketing ploy by the Canucks and VANOC, Canucks get alot of jerseys sold because tourists wanna buy jerseys with Vancouver written on it and VANOC is show casing the city of Vancouver on TV to a national/international audience.

I hope the canucks organisation read this forum. At least they'll know what the fans think of the new jerseys... that it's divided 50-50 . Maybe they'll remake the logo for next year,for their fans and their money, like the rumours say about buffalo and anaheim.

Since many of you have said that you would like the jerseys without the wordmark, and without the blue sleeves on the whites,
I decided to photoshop what they would look like.





When I first saw the jerseys today, I hated them, but the more I look at them, the more I like them. I still think that they could have been much better.

when I see it from that perspective, it looks better with the wordmark because even though some people think its too crowded.. it looks so boring with just the orca

What gets me is that with the whole Canucks management/ownership/marketing team along with the full resources of RBK Hockey division THIS IS ALL THEY COULD COME UP WITH? SEriously, there is NOTHING new or fresh about this jersey. They took the old colours which someone else designed, and stuck the last logo - which someone else designed - on it and topped it off with some lettering.

Any 12 year old kid (no disrespect to the many 12 year olds on this forum) could have photoshopped this jersey and RBK/Canucks expect the fans to buy the fact that they listened to the team and put their resources to work to design a fresh-new look for the team? Please....

They're not really that bad. I wanted to be a vintage blue Luongo from last year, so I think I will, but probably buy a new blue one as well
