I don't mind the new jerseys, I like the colors and the rest will grow on me. In the end it really doesn't matter, it won't change the way I watch them or change how much I cheer for them. The jersey's IMO are not all that bad but yeah the "Vancouver" looks dumb if you dont know what team we are already then you dont belong in hockey.

There's nothing wrong with the logo, and just about everyone agrees with you about the wordmark. I don't see how one nitty gritty detail now makes it an embarrassment. Newsflash.. they were one of THE best looking jerseys in the entire league last year, and the only drastic changes made to it were the logo swap and the wordmark, so I guess these now make them the ugliest jerseys in the league?

Why can't people understand that the wording represents the Millionaires and the WHL Canucks. There is a reason for it, a bit of history. And if people are so p***** off with it and they want a new logo, then what logo would you expect? We've had a rink, stick and a skate, and what classifies BC? a salmon? perhaps a Starbucks coffee? You should be proud and support the team no matter what.

Trust me, I hated the mere thought of a wordmark when the idea was introduced and just cringed expecting the worst. I saw the jerseys and was like "WTF" in reference to the wordmark, but it didn't take long at all to get used to.

I must disagree about the names being about something to do with the city. Bruins, Kings, Hurricanes, Panthers?????? What do those have to do with the city they represent? The thing is that those icons are all names of the teams they represent, Orca is not the name of your team. Coming from an outsider I must tell you that I think one of the classiest sweaters of all the teams is yours with the stick and rink. It is simple and the design stands out beautifully on that blue background. My suggestion for your design would be the stick and rink with the Orca on the shoulder or upper arm.

I think I'm OK with the home jersey. It's still cohesive, at least, and retains the big bulky hockey equipment visage from the heavy use of constant blue. I dislike how much the white piece of the C whale stands out from a distance, though, like a half a stamp or something.

The away jerseys are utter s***, however. Worst and most unflattering design ever.

I think the jerseys could look better without the "Vanvouver" on them but the reason i think it looks bad is because combined with naslunds "C" it looks way to busy....

on luongo it looks fine because there is less visual clutter
