The white half-a-C stands out so badly.
URL link of nhl.com doesn't allow ****ing hotlinking

Look how badly that stands out Naslund, and that's just at 25 feet or so. Imagine it at 75+ now.
p.s. **** do I lament these not being real now.

I posted this awhile back and it's a modification from the Bruins jersey to show that the Canucks can go vintage with a modern logo. I also mentioned earlier this year that if the Canucks were to go with the horizontal striping and the new RBK jersey with the shirt tails that it would look very strange. Unbelievable!
The Bruins have managed to use their stripes with the hem squared off and I'm not really sure why the Canucks didn't do the same with theirs. The whole jersey seems to be a hodge podge of this and that with no real focus and although they could have been worse they could also have been alot better. I'm on the fence.

You see, this is why I'm really mad about these new jerseys.
A user on CDC has created a better jersey in 5 minutes with nothing but Photoshop than the Canucks organization did with months and millions of dollars.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ZIMMERMAN???? Hire EnglandWins, or Trek, or Pfizer, somebody with a brain and a good sense of design!!
Instead of accusing zimmerman about not having a brain just think for a minute. U r joe nobody and think that some jersey on CDC is better than the newly released jersey's which i think are great. The jerseys created by pfizer and england wins look like s*** to tell u the truth. We would be the laughing stock of the league, and no this is not an invitation to say " We are the laughing stock of the league with the new jerseys ". Zimmerman is loaded, used to work for Nike, and now is the president of the Canucks. You are making fun of the intelligence of this multi multi millionaire.

Except that the away jersey is s*** ugly, so who cares?
I suppose if he s*** on a plate, you'd try to convince us that since it came from a reputable rich donkey hole that it must be delicious.
Eat up and enjoy?

Those jerseys are absolutely disgusting. I'm sorry but WTF were they thinking???
Up to this point every jersey had been a step on a stairway
These jerseys though, are the equivalent to falling off that stairway and fatally injuring yourself

I'm actually a fan of how the entire outfit looks, even though my first impression of the new jersey was, well, unimpressive.
Pros:
Shoulder Patches - creates an intimidating presence, shows our origin and the shared passion for the game
Player #s - looks clean and modern, very sharp
Horizontal Lines - resembles our beloved city through it's colours, consistent with the vintage theme
Gloves - noticed Naslund & Mitchell wearing blue gloves with a white 'palm' (excuse my poor explanation), they look great and I hope the whole team uses them at home
VANCOUVER (above crest) - great for worldwide marketing
Inverted Logo to match Home - now the ice the whale breaks through is actually ice (white)!!
Neck Decal - home jersey looks sharp, away jersey could have been better
Cons:
VANCOUVER (above crest) - although it's great for worldwide recognition, it looks damn ugly (hope it grows on me)... at least it spells out the best city in the world
Captaincy Letters - doesn't match well with VANCOUVER next to it
Like I said, I didn't like the jerseys when I first saw them. Reason may be the talented artists who took some time to share their passion of our Canucks. Some of those mock-ups were quality. But the more angles I get to see this new jersey/outfit... the more I like them.
Can't say they're worth a million dollars, but hey... we're the millionaires, we can afford it right?
Anyways... this jersey will look great under Lord Stanley.

Nope im just sayin that maybe zimmerman having worked for the marketing giant called nike has a little more insight into what ppl want than some of these s***ty mockups on CDC. These mockups are horrible and our jersey is amazing.

They are simple and clean and remind me of the Montreal Jerseys of Old.
They have everything we love about this team on them and they remind us of where we are from.
I believe this will end the 37 year drought, so get it together fans.
We are all Canucks.

Easy.
The new away jerseys are s*** ugly.
Not particularly challenging. Sort of a natural gut reaction, actually.
I'm not into the whole 'undersized white t-shirt' mess which the prematuring striping and off-color blue forearms creates.
