Then you obviously dont know how to read or listen. It was repeated over and over and over by every part of canucks upper management that the orca would remain as the canucks primary symbol. I dunno why ppl are shocked at this. Aquillini LOVES the orca, he's said that he wants to keep that design as long as he owns the team. I hate the jersey, the colours are gross and clash against each other and their wimpy. the vancouver is ridiculously gay. I dunno, I really cant understand why ppl think green and blue go together, its like red and purple. funny thing is, all these little girls love the jersey and they should know what colours clash. lol, w/e now every other team, even washington, has nicer jerseys than us

You know, the more I see the new jersey, the more I'm starting to like it. You suppose that's what they did, hung a few versions on a wall somewhere and this is the one that became more appealing over time? God, I hope so...

Well said. It's been a few days now and after being pretty uncertain they have really grown on me. I will be proud to wear this and make noise when the 'nucks come to Calgary. GO CANUCKS.

You guys who live in Van and go to the games: Here in Calgary, the fans in Calgary do a pretty good job of making sure they are all in red for all games, especially playoffs. Get something going, so all I can see is blue when I have to watch the games on TV. It will look awesome! People will talk about that kind of support when the Canucks hoist the Cup.

Holy crap, I just got back from camp, and these jerseys suck so much donkey it is not even funny. I didn't have much if any expectations, but WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THE "VANCOUVER" LETTERING?!?!? WTF DID THEY SPEND A MILLION FREAKING DOLLARS ON?

I just got back from vegas and when i typed int he address to the site, I closed my eyes and cringed.. expecting the worst.. well when I opened them I puked...

What a disgrace this jersey is. Why can't this organization get it right. The Vancouver makes the jersey look like it was made by a 4 year old girl on paint.

The orca on the jersey is dark blue, same as it's always been. People confused that colour with black when watching on TV for the original orca jerseys, so it's likely more to do with image file than it does with your eyes.
