So I went to game day sports in Richmond Center today, to see if I could buy the new jersey now, or at least put a deposit down for it, and apparently they are closing down at the end of the month. SO people in Richmond, keep your eyes open for the closing out sale they might have to clean the place out.

I went to Authentix today and bought a Luongo jersey for $60! And then, I asked the sales lady when the new jerseys will be on sale and she said it'll be on September 14. Oh, and she also said the Orca is staying.

Just for the record...the Canucks logo is a "C" yes a "C" for Canucks. With an Orca incorporated into the top of the "C". It's not just an Orca, like I said it's a C.

The longer the wait, them more pessimistic I am getting about these new #%&*@ jerseys. All of you guys are showing these ugly colour schemes with a green and blue orca. They better not of paid a mill for someone to change the original grunting whale to blue and green.

These new reebok jerseys, which I think are extremely ugly, would look very decent with the ORIGINAL scheme of the whale and the blue, maroon and silver or just blue and white. They showed footage of this style during practice sessions last year and they looked outstanding with the whale about half the size.

I am very afraid that they will have screwed up again in a colossal way with the uniforms. If it is looking anything like the ones Afin is showing then it will be very sad. (and angering)

The ones by John Slabyk with the WWII pilot is THE BEST idea for a Canucks logo. EVER! That is the one we should stick with. The colours are great, it is meaningful to the name, it is remeniscent to the "We are all Canucks" campaign last year, it is pretty fun to reproduce for kids, (that is saying something...as a teacher I see more rink and stick logos than whale logos).

I agree. The WWII pilot represents the team well too.
