I agree 100%! A standard, simple, distinctive logo is what makes a team easily identifiable and can make a name for itself. The vintage is simple yet very cool and when you see it, you automatically think 'Canucks.' Yes, with the Orca, you can also see it and think "Canucks" but the vintage (especially with the stand-out colour sheme) in that regard is a step ahead.
It's simple, classic and the most attractive logo I believe in the NHL.
It's unfortunate that Nonis has comfirmed that it is in fact the Orca as the main logo. I am disapointed but optimistic that they have come up with something that can make it look good on our boys come this October
