Strawberries
For a show that was so good seasons 1-4 its a shame it ended how it did.,, what a joke
marleau_12
Tides turned pretty quickly.... But I actually have to agree with you. I haven't like this season at all. Haven't liked the acting, especially from whoever plays Deb. Everything is just so over the top, her face is annoying to look at.
marleau_12
Was Harrison born deaf by any chance? So much crap is said around him and he doesn't even notice. Usually kids his age are a lot more perky and curious at what is being said around them. This season was a disaster. So smart for Hannah to be walking around the city where she's wanted by law enforcement and NOT wear a hat or colour her beautiful bright blonde hair. And Dexter should be dead btw, that would've been a bit better. Unless they're leaving it open to a spinoff or a return or something.
marleau_12
And to the dude that mentioned the crap that happens with no one noticing, a-friggin-men.
Danthecanucksfan
Still haven't watched the last episode. I havent read any of the posts above just in case they contain spoilers. My prediction: -Dexter does not die -he kills Daniel Saxton -he gets caught OR he gets away but someone close to him dies OR (more specifically) hannah dies/is captured and dexter runs away into the sunset with harrison
Apples
Real Dexter ended in season 4.
KFBR392
It was sad and stupid all together. Honestly I'm not sure what to think.

Remy
If you didn't like the show, why would you care that it ended? Couldn't you just not watch it?
Remy
I don't agree with that. Over all it was a great concept for a show.
Hobbes!!!
Enjoyed the finale but glad this show is over. Just went so downhill recently, like a slow burn,
Down by the River
So, because I had the option of not watching, I shouldn't think it's a terrible show? By the time it ended, no, I didn't particularly care how. But, I did love the show from seasons 1-4 and I stuck with it for longer than I'd like because it's a show my special lady friend wanted to watch. But gee, sorry I had an opinion? Monty
Of course not. But why care, let alone be happy that the show is over? Its just a reaction I find odd but quite common. "I don't like something so I'm glad it ended, even though I didn't need to let it have an effect on me". There are probably hundreds of shows out there that I think are moronic, yet I don't really care whether they end or not because I don't watch them in the first place so the have no effect on me. Raoul Duke
Nothing was good about that finale/season. NOTHING! - Deb's death was cheesey and hokey. Saw it coming weeks ago. - Saxon was a HORRIBLE villain. So damn rushed. His stupid wide eyed stare annoyed the piss outta me. - Vogel? Jesus. Did a zombie mate with a basset hound? Yaaaawwwwnnnnn... - Batista? Wow, was his character ever ruined. Not that he was the greatest character ever. - Quinn? Yes, let's ditch the HAAAWT and completely sane Jamie for DEB??? Come on. - Masuka? The daughter storyline was pathetic. I watched this last season just to see how it would end, and it failed miserably. Too bad, because it was gold from Seasons 1-4. I even enjoyed 5 and 6 to an extent. But these last two should be a lesson to all great shows to not overdo it. Seriously, LUMBERJACK DEXTER????? What the fuuuuuuu
TOMapleLaughs
Agreed. I need to watch an earlier Dexter season again so i can re-appreciate the show. This final season was a horrible, horribly-botched nightmare. Lumberjack Dexter needs to come back to chop off all the heads of the writers of this travesty. Breaking Bad finale is nailing it though. Jägermeister
Seasons 1-3 put it on the map as one of the best shows on TV. Season 4 blew it out of the water. Then Season 5 came along and was disappointing, maybe mainly due to the fact it was following such a great season. Season 6 was alright, had a good storyline. Season 7 and 8 were extremely disappointing. Even if it held the quality of Season 6 it could have gone down as one of the better shows in recent memory, but it flopped hard. Pretty much only watched Season 8 to see how it ended after investing 7 years on it.

Danthecanucksfan
Jesus. That was some kind of an ending. Felt kind of rushed, but id rather that be the ending then the producer trying to extend the series another season. Although this season wasn't great and all, Dexter has been one of my favourite t.v shows ever, Im so glad I got to watch this great series. Awesome show. Kumquats
My favorite line in the whole series was delivered by Quinn: "It's obviously self defense." I have no comment on the ending. It was just wtf why?
