i think hes definetly a flop

but hey it nice to enjoy the optimistic rants of yougsters here
hahah

My guess is you would have thought that players like Daniel Briere who spent the first 4 years playing half the time in the minors , being a call up, been put on waivers a flop too. Players take time to develope, some take longer then most UK.
But realistically i wish they would go back and change the draft age back to 20. Because not every 18 year old is going to a Gretzky,Crosby,Mario, Coffey or a dion ect ect. IMO its really hard to tell how an 18 year old will do in he long run.

Lets look at the bourdon situation this way
kopitar was supposed to be around 5th
thats around brules position

how many people hear would rather have kopitar then brule
also Defencemen arent forwards so you cant compare that way

Canucks of the Future
Rodin-Hodgson-Grabner
Shirokov-Schroeder-Anthony
Kablukov-Walsky-Rai
Matson-Bliznak-Bolduc

Sauve-Connauton
Ellington-Price
Andersson-Oberg
Fredheim

Schneider
Cannata

Blues just sent Erik Johnson down to the AHL.

It's not like a lot of D man at 20 can make the NHL full time. He's showing signs of improvement and simplifying his game and making smarter decisions.

Lol, Only on CDC could a topic named "I knew Alexander Edler was good but..., I had no Idea" turn into a Naslund Bash fest. Morons.

Being more calm and relaxed out there has obvious helped his game. As coach AV said:

Quote

“For me, honestly…around our group and the coaches and the players, he looks more relaxed. Before, when you asked him a question, a lot of the time it was a one word answer and he was seizing up there. He looks a little bit calmer and relaxed, he’s giving me sentences when answers my questions now.”

Being nervous in any situation is not good for performance... I get nervous when I'm speaking in public and it affects my speaking skills at that time, but when I am in class or with friends, or even just a random chat with someone on the bus, I'm less nervous and more calm, so I speak better, as I can properly construct my train of thought and control my stuttering when I am speaking in public. It's all about managing your anxiety and controlling your nerves, of which Bourdon looks like he has learned.
Remember: SOME PEOPLE ARE ALIVE SIMPLY BECAUSE IT IS ILLEGAL TO SHOOT THEM

Johnson was sent down to the minors for brief conditioning stint as he is coming off an ankle injury. Much like Ottawa did with Emery this season after he came off IR. I would expect he see back with Blues within a week; he is NHL ready.

Haven't read the whole thread, but no one who is under the age of 25 can be considered "a flop" in my opinion.
