Anyone Scared Luongo won't re-sign with us? 4 years isn't enough to build up much Loyalty

Our team is pretty mediocore right now because we don't have any forwards that can score besides the Sedin twins that only play good against weak opposition. We pride ourselves on good defensive hockey yet we find a way to blow leads and lose games in the 3rd period all the time and good teams don't do that as consistently as the Vancouver Canucks.
Larchied always talks about "Canucks Hockey" but giving up leads is what I think of when I think about "Canucks Hockey", even with the best goalie in the league.
Our defense is getting older and more injury prone. I mean Ohlund is not the same dominant player he once was when he could grab players along the boards and hold them back with his stick. His foot speed isn't there anymore and with his NTC we are stuck with him.
Bieksa is either injured or suffering from the pressure of a large contract because his play is worse than Kracijek at this point. Not what you call top 4 quality right now.
Salo is good but brittle and no doubt in my mind he will probably have a few injuries during the season whether it be groin, shoulder or tail bone again. When he is in the line up he is our best defencemen but if you go by the stats he has missed a lot of games the last few seasons.
Mitchell is good but he is 1 dimensional
in short , our defense is overrated and not as good as it is on paper.
Our much bigger problem is offense.
Raymond, Grabner, Hansen, Simek will probably not be ready to be full time legitimate top 6 forwards for 2 or 3 years. By that time Luongo contract is expiring and our defense gets worse and older.
Sedin twins are only good against weak teams but when they go up against teams with good defencemen like Anaheim, Detroit they become invisible because Lidstrom and those type players will contain them 24/7. They are good against the Oilers because their defencemen don't take the body and let them play pass all night long.
Naslund and Mo are inconsistent and past their prime. THeir point totals over the last 3 seasons are an indication of that. Enough said there.
Free Agents, all the good ones are going to be locked up again and there is no guarentee that you get the UFA you want as 29 other teams could be competing for that player. Heatley and Marleau were the guys that would have made a difference but they already got extensions.
So going into Luongo final year our defense gets older and worse, our offense barely improves and all the quality FA will not be coming here, our system probably gets old and we won't contend for the cup.
Luongo wants to win badly and decides Vancouver can't do that so he goes to a team like Detroit in the offseason.
I hope Luongo re-signs here but 4 years isn't enough to build up that much loyalty in signing another long term contract if the team isn't improving. I don't see our team getting any better because Free Agents that would have been the last piece to the puzzle are already under contract extensions with their clubs.

I have no worries about Luongo re-signing in Vancouver. He hasnt played for a city like Vancouver in his NHL career, and he gets treated very well here.
I wouldnt worry about it.

Luongo wants to win and in the prime of his career he could almost hand pick any team he wants to go on because GM's would be willing to move players to get a guy like Lu.

Seriously though he is treated like a god in this city. Even on an off night we give him the benefit of the doubt and go easy on him, while other players get ripped apart on these boards.
But it does all come down to the money and if we save our pennies and pay him well in a couple years I am sure he would stay.
