Ah, you suck
I'll probably have to wait until at least after reading break before I can catch some games.
And the price is pretty decent. Not the regular one dollar off crap or something like that.

SALMON KINGS ADD ASSISTANT
For Immediate Release
Wednesday, October 31, 2007
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that the organization has brought former Salmon King Steve Lingren onboard as a part time assistant coach.
Lingren has been working with the team's defensemen since training camp and he will continue to assist Head Coach Mark Morrison and Assistant Coach Quinten Van Horlick throughout the remainder of the season, as his time permits.
“We are very pleased to have Steve return to the Salmon Kings family as an assistant coach,” Dan Belisle Vice President of Hockey Operations and General Manager said. “Steve brings with him both experience and knowledge of the ECHL and professional hockey. He will work with our defensive corps, and will be an invaluable asset to both Mark and Quinten.”
The Lake Cowichan, BC native played 14 professional seasons in the ECHL, AHL, IHL and Germany. His junior career spanned three years as a member of the Victoria Cougars.
Known as a solid defender who was capable of contributing offensively with his very hard shot, Lingren decided to retire after patrolling the blueline for the Salmon Kings for the last two seasons.
The Salmon Kings will host the Bakersfield Condors for three games starting tonight followed by November 2nd and November 3rd. Individual game tickets are now on sale! Call 220-7889.

The Salmon Kings claimed the 24-year-old off waivers from Stockton last week. He played in four games with Stockton this season. The fourth year pro has played 192 games in the AHL and ECHL.
Chris is an offensive talent who plays with an edge, Head Coach Mark Morrison said. We have been looking for a natural centerman for our roster, and Chris fits that description.
The 5-foot-8, 181-pound St. Jacques split time between both Columbia (ECHL) and Toronto (AHL) last season. The 24-year-old, Edmonton, AB native played five seasons with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL.

They came close, 2 a piece! And Gajic, not wanting to be left out, also scored a pair, and there was a goal for Estrada. In all, 7-4 win for the Salmon-kings!! Awesome game tonight!
Oh and for the Fukufuji fans, he was manning the Bakersfield net tonight.

There were a ton of penalties tonight, throughout the entire game. It was pretty funny when that guy got kicked out...he made such a show of stopping to slam the gate on his way off the ice.
Ellis played pretty well - came up big when he needed to, which is all you can ask of a goaltender. He made a few spectacular saves.
I like the new contest this year too, letting a kid ride the zamboni.

It has also come to my attention that in the last 3 games, the Goldie's have combined for 10 goals... (5 each)
Leslie was funny.. I remember him getting misconducts here on several occasions over the last few years
Anyway going for the sweep today! ALLLRIGHT! I should be there again

Whoa...I didn't realize the Salmon Kings were only playing with 5 dmen...

"It's definitely a concern. But the biggest concern is if the Moose call up another defenceman from us, which is a real possibility," said Victoria GM Dan Belisle.
"But we just have to be patient and see what happens. If we make the effort to go out and get somebody, then if everybody comes back, it becomes crowded with too many defencemen."

Ya ya I know eh!!! I guess the toughest part for them is when people are called up, they have nobody of their own to bring up. I remember the season before last, they were on a Cali road trip, and had SO many injuries, by the last game they had 1 goalie (no backup), 4 D men and 7 forwards dressed for their game

Ash Goldie at it again.. only 1 today though, pfffft. lame. haha
Thomspon in net, 3 goals on 22 shots I think. I mean I'm not there tonight, so I havn't seen him, but I havn't been overally impressed so far... Bridges played AWESOME down the stretch last year, I was upset they cut him... I hope it turns out to be a good decision, but I don't know, we'll see what happens! He let in some softies in the first game here thats for sure... ah well.
GO FISH!
WOOOOOOO WINNNNN 5-4 IN A SHOOTOUT!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!
4th straight win!! Swept the Condors!
5-2-0!!!
OH ya, Ash Goldie with 2 more goals. figures. 8 goals in 7 games for him... Him and Wes Goldie combined for 12 goals in last 4 games.

Sucks being the bottom team in an organization when you get players poached as the NHL team calls up from the farm. But they gutted out a win and that is all that counts.
Gotta get over for a game sometime. Had a rockin good time when I was at the Roadrunners game last year when they were selling the cheap tickets to get a sellout.

Scored by #14...CRAIG CUNNINGHAM!
Lets see what Luke Schenn does in a couple of years
