iheartluongo
Why do people keep using The Weather Network? It seems to be quite inaccurate most of the time. Probably because of the name ''The Weather Network''. One would think they'd be accurate b/c the name has the word "weather" in it. Well, that's what I think, anyway. Yeah, TWN fracking sucks. Hopefully it doesn't snow, considering it JUST melted and is pretty much all clear. I'd rather it be foggy for the next couple of days/weeks than have it snow. Common sense
With the closing of a bridge along the Fraser, I certainly pray fro anything other than snow. God knows how long it'll take before plows start working at the arterial roads...
namechange
long range models are increasingly converging on the idea of retrogression of the long wave ridge from the western U.S out to 140-145w. As is typically the case in discontinuous retrogression...models have difficulty latching onto how the process evolves and how strong individual short wave features moving through the long wave pattern will be. It does appear that a colder pattern is setting up for later in the weekend as a strong Arctic high over the Yukon sends a chunk into the Pacific northwest. There is considerable question on the strength of the shortwave that moves across the area Saturday. Looks like there's another arctic blast coming in next week. Chris19
The cold air is making it way back. They said this since 2 weeks ago that at the end of January we may see a significant dump of snow. It may look true now.
