Gretzky's Mullet
Thanks for the great start to the fantasy week John Lackey. 3.1 innings, 8 ER against the Rays. It'll take me the whole week to recover from that.
shiznak
Roy Halladay looking like he's going to run away with the Cy Young in the NL(barring injury). I wonder how many wins can he get, 25?

b3.
I see that Pittsburgh got absolutely murdered, 20-0! What was that scene yesterday about A-Rod and the A's pitcher?
Gretzky's Mullet
Lucky for the Yanks that it was a catcher who hit that ball.
Gretzky's Mullet
Holy crap, the Pirates are really bad. For a good time, go check out the box scores during their games with the Brewers.
fly_high
Anyone in baseball pools? My team is riddled with injuries (Nelson Cruz, Beltran, Roberts, Brett Anderson, Mauer), surprisingly I won my H2H this week. Hughes was amazing yet again. Future ace of the Yanks. Shattenkirk's Bald Spot
I went to the Mariners game today. Gawd, they suck at offense. 1-0 lead in the ninth and they blow it. They had the bases drunk with 1 out and they manage to get dick all. So frustrating. Jack Z needs to get some power in that lineup before I drive all the way back down. Half the lineup is riddled with guys that have an avg under 200, and there's only two legit hitter in the team - Ichiro (no RBI) and Franky Guitierrez...pretty sad. fly_high
We have a CDC league on Yahoo. My team's been pretty lousy lately though. Stupid Santana got his donkey kicked and lost me a couple of pitching categories today.
fly_high
The Mariners have more than two legit hitters. Sure, the team is off to a slow start, but they aren't alone. The bright spot for the Mariners is their pitching unlike the Orioles and Red Sox. There were high expectations set the season but I'm sure they'll hit their stride in May. Ichiro has three RBIs, what do you expect? He's a table setter. Figgins is a solid leadoff/no. 2 guy. The guy has a career .363 OBP. Jose Lopez is an underrated 2b in the league. He's at that prime age of 27. Quietly put up 25 hrs and 90+ rbi's last year for a Mariner's offense that struggled. Expect to watch tight games when you visit Safeco. The offense is not going to give a whole lot of run support.
Captain Bob
Anyone watching the Jays/Indian game? Jays were down 4-2 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. It's now 5-4 for the jays. Hope they can hold on to this lead.
