I missed the actual hit, but Zednik has lost a lot of blood, and its been a long time since Ive seen so much blood on the ice in a game.

Hope he is alright, it looks pretty serious though, they keep saying reminiscent of the Clint Malarchuk incident.

Game is now on hold.

No idea where exactly he was cut, and the only replay they have shown didnt show much.

There was a Florida player who got hit, and his skate went up and caught Zednik near the neck... pretty scary stuff. They just said he is in stable condition now and is being transported to hospital... that's a bit of good news.

Thoughts and prayers are with Zednik and his family. That was a whole lot of blood on the ice, can't even watch it. There was almost enough blood as Malarchuk. I hope he's okay, very scary. It was Jokinen's skate that cut him.

He's in stable condition now apparently.

it was Jokinen's skate. cut some artery....

Really? There was blood all over the ice. The Malarchuk incident was obviously worse but in recent memory this was the closest.

He is fine now....they were talking about suspending the game...colin campbell was in the building too....he had gone to the hospital

On the slower replays they showed, I didn't even catch who cut him, let alone any blood.
It just looked like someone tripped.

On the reply they only showed where the skate made contact, not when blood came out. And they only showed a view where you could see the trail of blood once or twice. Then they did a dry scrape before resuming the game.

They originally tried to use shovels to clean up the blood after this incident but realized they would need the Zamboni, there was just too much of it.

I flipped and I don't see any blood on the ice, hope he's ok.
