Don't get me wrong, there's nothing more that I'd like than to see the Canucks make the playoffs... It's going to be a ????ty, empty spring without that feeling and excitement... But these past few days have honestly felt like having a pet suffer through cancer with a 50/50 chance, and it slowly getting worse and worse as each long day passes on... (which I've had happen, and yeah that was much worse... but it still sort of felt like it)

I feel completely awful right now, and empty, however, there's a small sense of relief and after a week or so it'll only get better.

Also, we have so much to look forward to in the off season... That's really our chance to get our ???? together with contracts ending, and free agents becoming available.

Sigh... Looking at the positives is really the best medicine right now... We're all in the same boat, we all lousy, let's not nit pick the team apart anymore and point fingers, just accept it and look forward to the future...

Better to end it now rather that end it in the first round of the playoffs.

This is pretty typical.

No, not at all. This team got so much more potential and have played so much better this season; and then just let it slipped in a series of crucial games at the end. All other teams (well not all) steps up now, and we steps down. It might be fair, but I don't feel it that way.

The only positive about this is that there's going to be a gauranteed shakeup this summer. I want a captain not a robot.

Well, it's good because it probably means that there will be management changes, but at least if you make it into the playoffs you don't have to go through meaningless games after you're eliminated (CGY).

Yeah, I'm pretty choked right now.

I hope they lose on Saturday so they can at least get the 10th or 11th pick. This would give us a chance to pick up a very solid prospect, maybe even one that can step in next year to play.

YUP!
it's like ripping off a band-aid faster rather than slower...Painful, but atleast now it's no secret that the team has problems it needs to address.
I'm looking forward to a solid offseason and training camp, there will still be some good playoff hockey, sure..might not be canucks, but it's going to be good to watch!

fire nonis, and av
then bring in someone who knows how to build a team,
then bring in don hay, an inspirational, hard-working coach who's had success numerous times at the junior level.
