Very good move -- Iginla just showed the Canucks management more respect for Linden than Linden got from either management or the coaching staff, all season -- and all that in one single moment -- with a shot of Dave Nonis looking like he just saw a ghost over the ledge from his perch.

Thanks JI

More importantly thanks Trevor Linden.

Don't worry guys if we lose to them next season after a blowout and a few brawls we'll hate the Flames again! ;)

But it really was wonderful what Iginla did at the end of the game, extremly classy.
The exchange between Conroy and Linden was very funny as well:

Conroy-Too bad you didn't score eh?
Linden-Well you guys just had to win didn't you?

Great player Trevor is. When that jersey gets retired and lifted up into the rafters I want to be there and see it live. To see Trevor on the ice with the Canucks one last time is something that will be undescribable.

Haha. Yeah Phanuef went into the tunnel already and then realized *oh wait, my captain Iginla is doing something classy, I should really try that too* and then comes back out.

WHERE ARE THE BEERS?

What if it was partly a strategic move by Iginla?

He realizes Trevor hadn't announced his retirement yet. Jarome doesn't want to face Trevor next year in the post-season. So, he led his team to a 'final handshake' with Trevor, putting immense pressure on Trevor to not return next season, putting Vancouver at a disadvantage come next year's playoffs.

lol stfu, i do agree i had the same thought. I was like, it wasn't classy, Iginla just wanted to feel the awesomeness of Trevor.

 Iggy and Robyn told him to get his donkey back out on the ice. It was a classy night for 2 classy players.

I bet Pronger would never do something what Jarome did, but if Neidermayer was still the captain of Anaheim he would do something classy as well.

As much as I think Dion Phaneuf is a douche bag, the guy is one heck of a player and I would love to see him in a Flyers or Canucks uniform.

I would like to thank our fans, for their class. For giving Iginla a standing O is really something. I think the last time we gave a standing O to an opposing player was when Joe Sakic scored his 500. I really respect our fans for showing class and respect to the player who has scored a big goal of their career or set a record. Makes us one of the best fans in the league!!

The standing ovation was sweet, although I was giving my Standing O half to Iginla and half to Sandman for not squeezing up and letting Iggy have it.

They were showing clips of Game 6 when they were talking to Tommy, and I didn't really see it but did that douche Messier cross checked Trevor from behind when he was down on the ice?

You can't be serious.
Well, yeah, you could...
I don't expect to see Linden or Brett Hull at Keenan's retirement party somehow.

Yeah wasn't serious. He probably couldn't have run to the back fast enough.
