The news of Luc Bourdon's tragic passing I'm sure was a little much for any of us in Canuck Nation to comprehend this morning. I've gone through a rollercoaster of emotions and I can only imagine what others must be feeling. Luc had so much promise and potential. A great hockey talent and a greater person. While very few positives can ever come of situations like these, I want to challenge each and every Canuck fan to commit a random act of kindness today. Be thankful for your life, and for the lives of those around you. I'll be making a donation of $28 to Canuck Place in Luc Bourdon's memory, and if you can afford to, please do the same. We're a fanbase that is as divided as any, but hopefully we can come together in this difficult time to make a positive difference on a day that started so tragically. Rest In Peace Luc.

Great idea! I've gone and donated.
I also wondered if the Canucks organization should do something like for every Bourdon jersey sold from this day forward, 1/2 the proceeds would go to his family. It would be a nice gesture to his family to show just how much he meant to our team.
