Seconded. Folks are getting a little out there with the Homering. I mean, he deserves his number retired and a job for life somewhere in the Canucks' organization, but streets? Holidays? Statues...? Sure, he's a great human being and at his best a very, very good hockey player, but c'mon people...we're not canonizing a Pope here.

welcome to the city of "Trevor Linden"

Have a cycle race from Vancouver to Banff (Tour de Linden).
False Creek could be renamed Linden Inlet linking Canuck Bay.
While we're at it lets rename the Oak St. Bridge, Pavel Bure Bridge. Cambie Street Bridge to Brodeur Bridge.
Ok, yes now it's getting out of hand. But a statue in front of GM Place isn't extreme, its a testament to the kind of guy Trevor is. But maybe we should wait until when we win a Cup before putting a statue up yes? Unless we put up a Cyclone Taylor Memorial celebrating our cup win in 1915 and honouring the Vancouver Millionaires. Which I certainly wouldn't mind!
GO CANUCKS GO!
LONG LIVE LINDEN!
