Van Fans need to start talking more about Ryan Malone. We need grit, speed and Canadian heart...as well as a power foward. Sounds like Malone, this is our man. I think he should be the top priority for the Canucks. I don't know how many times I watch the twinkie sisters out there work their donkey off for scoring chance and if there is a rebound forget it, we get outmuscled. Slot in Malone and we are going to pick up those nitty gritty goals that are oh so valuable in a defensive minded team like ours.

Screw Hossa, someone is going to give him $10mill a year...he only had 66pts this year!!!! Malone, Rolston, Huselius, Avery and Conklin as our back up - in that order (these guys can be had for $20 million or less combined). This is a speedy talented WITH HEART type of team. We make these bold moves and we are going to be sitting pretty, not to mention all those prospects coming up? Throw in Wellwood for some depth along with the young prospects. This would be a very sick team.

I agree that guys should post this kind of stuff under one of the many already created "Malone" threads. But I'm going to be honest, that search system really sucks. I search for posts about some issue and get posts about everything but what I was looking for.

I think Malone could be good here, personally I dont want the pricetag on Hossa...

....I think loyalty issues, while not of his own making, crop up: Highest bidder gets the Ming Vase..i mean Hossa.

overpriced, overrated...albeit amazing...not worth half our cap space though.
