Just pay the 10 dollars for unlimited texting.

Most people text over that amount anyways.

Meh, texting is so overrated.

Cell phones are in general, imo.

Paying for incoming text sounds stupid, but maybe it'll get like half the texting population to get off it... haha.

bleed canadiens.

I guarantee you, the first time I get charged with it, I'll be filing a law suit under the Canadian Consumer Protection Act, which states it is against the law to charge a customer for something they never asked for (i.e. - I never asked for someone to send me a text message, and Telus won't allow to me remove/block incoming text messages, therefor as a customer I was not given an opportunity to avoid a charge for something I never wanted).

It will be the most expensive 15 cents Telus ever makes.

Bell allows you to block text capabilities.

Texting is useful in loud places. Either way, people should be pissed off as there is absolutely no reason to charge for incoming text (let alone 15 cents for outgoing) other than just to grab more money, as the cost to the phone companies is close to zero.

I think people are misreading this article.

it is for PAY AS YOU GO customers only.
every cell phone provider has an unlimited plan for like $10

regardless, Im with Fido and I pay $10 for unlimited text incoming and outgoing

i don't think people should pay for receiving a text anyway, regardless of the plan they're on. you don't pay to receive a letter by snail-mail..

Gee. More expensive communications. More expensive gas. More expensive airfare. More expensive foods. Housing repossessions. Looks like hard times for anyone who isn't already wealthy. Wonder how that happened?

HAHAHA

Bell & Telus have come up with a sure way to make new customers avoid choosing them.
