He's related to Jonothan (LA, Goaltender), who is his younger brother.

Hmm wonder why Sharrow wasn't qualified. I thought it would have been nice to keep him for one more year and see what he could do.

Yeah, Genoway wasn't going to get any better and fled to Europe.

Bernier was a terrible pick by Burke/Delorme.

And Sharrow probably wouldn't have amounted to much anyways.

is he going to play with the moose next year or is he a lost cause?

This teams only big enough for one Bernier.
1 of only 4 remaining NHL Arenas that Martin Broduer has a LOSING record in is General Motors Place.

Former 2 round pick playing for the Salmon Kings?

Cheechoo is a top six forward. Cheechoo needs a change of scenery. If he gets one, he will be a 20+ goal scorer again. There's no point in arguing with you. You're the most retarded and ignorant person I've ever met on CDC.

Pick made during Burke's years in the deep 2003 draft.

Terrible terrible pick.

Backes was at 62, Bernier was at 60.

Funny how Brian Burke of all people passes on a 200+ hit a year NHL player for a perimeter ECHL player...

No. They asked him that in the press conference. No relation to Steve.

However he is Johnathan Bernier's (LAK) older brother.

Its all Burkes fault. But no surprise.

At the time Bernier probably looked like a good pick at 6'3 218lbs, while Backes is only 6'2 200lbs. Hindsight is 20/20.

Interesting sidenote, Edmonton used a pick traded from Vancouver to pick Stottini.......they can have him though, Hordichuk will blow his doors off.

Actually, the Oilers traded Mike Grier to Washington for a 2nd and 3rd round pick in 2003. The 3rd round pick was aquired by Washington in the trade that brought Linden back to Vancouver.

Should Gillis re-aquire him and use that increased budget in scouting and development to make him better
