Wade Belak is always good for comic relief.

Playing for Florida and liking golfing, what a concept.

But he'll burn the hell out of his head.

He is right about Florida being in better shape to win than Toronto tho.

hey maybe Sundin is really wanting to try out Marlin fishing any avid fisherman would love to land one of those suckers I know I would.

This is a really, really dumb thread. The fact that Wade Belak has tried to get Sundin to go to Florida is not a basis for saying there is a rumour that Sundin may go to Florida.

Belak is right about one thing. Toronto is in complete shambles, they can't even decide if they're rebuilding or not. Meanwhile Florida has great goaltending, decent offence even without Jokinen, and now the best defence in the division (though that's not saying much). I think the Panthers have a good chance of making the playoffs, while the Leafs have a good chance of drafting John Tavares.

Panthers will probably finish 2nd in the SE.

The whole thing with where Sundin's gonna end up is getting out of hand.

Haaaaa, I beg to differ. Neither of them look good for the playoffs, but I think Toronto will finish higher.
Good luck in New York, Captain.

Sundin to Manchester United

the People here who think Toronto will finish higher than the Panthers are joking right.

Florida has a better defence top 6. have better goaltending. and are about the same in offense but younger

Seriously FLA will finish higher than TOR

Zednik-Hagman-Dvorak
Stillman-Weiss-Olesz
Peltonen-Mclean-Booth
Kilger-Kreps-Belak

Bouwmeester-Allen
Ballard-Skrastins
Van Ryn-Boynton

Vokoun
Anderson

is better than any Toronto lineup without Sundin in it even then still doubt the leafs dont compeltly bomb they need Sundin worse than we do honestly

W/O Sundin they dont have a #1 centre who can hold it for the whole season and dont even have first line players unless their being set up by someone liek Sundin.

Do you really think Bell, Blake, Antropov, Hagman, Steen, Stajan can accoplimish much. Thats a weak top 6

at least we have the Sedins in our top 6

I think you meant Horton.

Will never happen, Sundin is from Sweden...he doesn't seem like he would suit a Florida climate.

Quote

While Vancouver and Montreal are the favourities in the SwedeStakes, don't be surprised if another team pops up should Mad Mats finally announce his plan to play next season. While the Flyers are over the salary-cap limit, they might just move Jeff Carter to create space for Sundin.

Calgary Herald

Makes no sense, even if they dealt Carter, adding Sundin wouldnt fix their cap problems, it would make it worse.
