I attend Canucks games frequently at GM Place and have been wondering when the Canucks were going to replace our old, outdated and very crappy soundsystem at GM Place. I have been emailing the Canucks for a while about this and it looks like they are finally doing something about it. New goal horn too!

I like the actual sound of our goal horn a lot, I would just like it louder. I hope we don't go to something higher pitched. :/

I liked our old one too but the problem with it was that it could not go any louder. I like the change to a new horn and I'm excited to hear what it sounds like.

As for the speakers, this was a really really good move I think. Our old Bose speakers were very tinny and crappy and I'm glad we're moving to a higher tec, better sounding system to match our state of the art scoreboard.

awww, the goalhorn was from pacific colliseum. i hope they dont get one of those low loud bc ferry foghorns...railroad horns sound much better.

cheers to that.. i don't care if the new horn makes sounds of a crying baby... i'd be able to listen to it no problem 3-4 times (or more) a night

montreal has that video on ice intro too, and that looks so good.... with the canucks raising ticket prices and 10mill under the cap most likely, hope they will actually use that money to upgrade it instead of putting it into the pockets of Aqualini....

I don't care if our goal horn is a gigantic burp, a baby screaming at the top of it's lungs, or the sound of my uncle taking a dump... as long as it's heard A LOT - then I'm happy.

If anybody attends Canucks games frequently at GM Place, they should know how much we were in need of a new soundsystem there. It was atrocious.

I'm really glad that they are addressing these things.
