Before that, he was just another agitator who can score occasionally.. Now, we depend on him to finish plays off or score on a consistent basis. He WAS a bottom 6 forward. With more than a little help from linemates Henrik and Daniel Sedin, Burrows had the week of a lifetime, scoring 3 goals in back-to-back games to become the first Canuck since Petri Skriko in 1987 to get hat tricks in consecutive games -- and triggering a lot of hat-throwing at GM Place. His first hat trick helped the Canucks rally from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets, 7-3, on Tuesday, and he scored three of Vancouver's four goals in a 4-0 win against Phoenix two nights later. Burrows didn't need a lot of time or shots to record his big week. He scored his 6 goals on nine shots and played only 34:30 combined in the two games. Ironically, he saw more ice time in the Canucks' other game last week -- getting an assist in 21:11 Saturday in the Canucks' 3-2 shootout loss to Calgary.
