can you imagine... that would be epic.

Burrows currently sits 45th all time in Canucks scoring, pretty impressive if you ask me.
He has 163 points. 408 points will put him into top 10. I can easily see him picking up 245 points in 10 years and ending his career in the top 10 all time.

Actually Donald Lever currently sits in the top 10 with 407 points. Ryan Kesler is currently in 31st place with 208 points so will likly beat Burrows to the top 10 meaning Burrows will have to pass Todd Bertuzzi's 449 points to make it in the top 10.

Sami Salo is 34th with 200 points, but I don't see him making it to the top 10.

33 and counting. What bugged me last night was when MacTavish said " any player playing on the right wing of the Sedin's would be callling his agent to let him know about a big deposit in the account after a big season. " Burrows is sticking around for a while, not pulling an Anson Carter. Where is Carter nowadays? Burrows deserves to be there. I think Burrows make the twins better. Last year was the first year they averaged a point a game. Look at this year. Henrik 1.34 ppg. Daniel 1.32 ppg. It's not just a coincidence there ppg went up vastly. Burrows has alot to do with their production and vice versa.

IMO the green men should accentuate their bulge so the opposing team is not only humiliated but intimidated.

Okay so Burrows has got 34 goals, 111 PIM.

The next closest guys are Ovechkin (46, 83) Bobby Ryan (31, 79) Mike Richards (28, 79) Corey Perry (26, 105) Rene Bourque (24, 88) and Evgeny Malkin (24, 88)

Steve Downie of Tampa Bay is the only guy with 20+ goals and 200+ PIM.

Pretty impressive stuff there.

Pretty nice, seen him plenty of times take the puck while getting out of the box for a breakaway, where he really shines.Posted Image

Him and Kesler most talented grinders on the team. But playing that way comes with a price. BTW so worth it lol.

woudn't really call them grinders anymore but if you were to call them grinders, they'd be the best two in the league.

Isn't this a bad thing. 30 goals is nice but 100 pim means he's in the box a lot. He doesn't fight so they'll be mostly minors.

I don't see what makes this something to celebrate.

are we in NHL 10? I think they are actually danglers...lol

but seriously you cant call them grinders they have been playing as scorers for over a year now. Kesler has evolved into a great 2 way forward who has some great playmaking skills whil Burrows has transformed into a 30+ goal scorer that has great hockey sense. Anyone who thinks AV is a bad coach just needs to go back to 2006/2007 when Burr only scored like 2 or 3 goals that year and see what he has done. Dont get me wrong Burr deserves most of the credit but without the chance he would still be on the 3rd line.

He's improved but to look at his stats and say that its all him would be crazy. There is no way he would put those numbers out with the Sedins. He's just this years Antson Carter

Why do I always get the feeling that PIM's are listed as a positive attribute?

Penalties are not good. All that says is he was in the box 50 odd times when his team could have been even strength and he could have been scoring.

I noticed the American media started doing that. They will list a guy's goals, assits and penalty minutes as if those are the 3 big stats.

That very true but I REALLY think people under estimate Burrows on that line. Other guys have been able to play on that line for a short amount of time but Burr is putting these numbers up in back to back years. Sure most of the points are Sedin related but he is smart enough to find the spaces.

Everyone gets called, even gentleman Hank has 46.
