Shiro was very shaky though. Grabner looks more confident.

I'm stoked for when Shiro gets called back up though, he's going to light it up.

This is really only true about last nights game. If Shirokov had the exact same opportunity to start his NHL career based on his playmaking abilities and vision I think he'd have been doing better. That being said it's nice to see Grabner showing some confidence during the game. Hopefully it continues.

What can i say about Micheal Grabner about his game past few games:
-Wow what a Goal!!!! great shot!!!
- Had a big hit last night!!!
- Every game he plays he looks more confident!!!!
- Raymond and kesler are the perfect line mates for him... Fastest line in the NHL!!!!
- 2 points in 4 games!!!!
- Looking better every game!!!!

My Prediction for the game against the leafs for micheal:
2 goals and a Assist!!!!
Make it happen

Considering it'll be against the 3rd string goalie for the Leafs, that looks even more likely.

Hopefully, we don't make him look "hot". Didn't we also face him against the Islanders last year, and I don't think that ended well.

Oh yeah...the curse of the backup goaltenders continues. We will make this guy look like a superstar, and Leafs fans will rejoice and start planning the parade route.

I disagree with you. I personally don't think Grabner is a better player then Mason Raymond. Out of the 3, Raymond Shirokov, and Grabner, Grabner will be ranked number 3, out of the 3 players. But I am happy to see Grabner progress like this.

Never said either was a better player. As of yet, I can't make an assessment. I believe Grabner has a higher ceiling, but Raymond has done more at the NHL level.

I'm saying that Raymond isn't all that great against the boards and his shot isn't exactly amazing.

Edler point prediction: 12 goals, 33 assists and 45 points / Edler point counter: 0 goals, 7 assists and 7 points.

Grabner needs to relax when getting interviewed...he sounds like his whole body is shaking when he is answering questions from the media....(edit...nm he was shaking the interview was while he was on the bike...)

Other than that....he is way outperforming my expectations. Thumbs up.

Playing with Kesler and Raymond is really helping him but he is doing his part and is letting his shot go a lot and is finding good space while attacking.

Great game from Grabner tonight. He's really making a case for him sticking with the team when Daniel comes back. Man our speed line in general is amazing. I can't see it not sticking for a long time, they dominate out there.

Now that the first few games for Grabner are in the books and the adrenaline rush has subsided we will see if he can keep up his production. Won't be easy given the teams focus has shifted to the trap. Pressure's on now.

Well he broke his ankle on November 1st before the Avs game. And a broken ankle should take about 6 weeks if everything goes well. So expect him to be back playing by the third week of december sometime.
