Hadn't been paying attention to Shirokov but he's looking good in Moscow right now:

CSKA Moscow: 27 GP, 9 goals, 13 assists, 22 points

He leads CSKA in points over ex NHLers Oleg Saprykin, Petr Shastlivy.

Haven't heard much about him recently, and I know Russian prospects are usually throw away now but maybe he should be given a harder look if he keeps up these types of numbers.

'An intriguing mix of genocide and modern dance!'

It was a matter of speech. Obviously he wouldn't care if I said that.

Obviously I knew that. The opportunity was just lying there, so I though might as well.

He and Koltsov are both interesting prospects.

Quite frankly I'm surprised people still aren't familiar with me. That Alex Edler thread still has nuts thinking I'm serious when I pretty much made it blatantly obvious I'm doing what my name says.

How did you all get the LB Avatar
AV should be fired and I started saying this at the start of the 2007-2008 seasons.

The Team we have this year can score but no we have to play the trap in the post season.

MG has been great but he has made one mistake keeping this lame Coach.

A one man fore check will not win in the post season. Forget your three minutes away crap it is a game plain that only takes one mistake to go wrong.

In the NHL you have to have room for mistakes anything can happen. How many goals have been scored on a bad bounce?

If a bad Bounce can take you out of the game your game plain sucks.

If we keep playing this kind of Game Congrads to the young Hawks Team for a Great year.

If we can tie up the coach before the game then play the game we played all year Wings see you in 6 days.

They held a short ceremony for him on the day that he died.

Its just too bad he can make much more as a high scoring KHL player than an NHL played restricted by the Entry level Contract.

If Mike Gillis manages to sign Shirokov and bring him over to play for the Canucks then I will finally be happy about him replacing Nonis.

He died while playing in the KHL.

I do believe that they continued the game, though.
