Personally, I think we have a better chance of getting Kablukov over here than Koltsov.
Though I think bring two Russians over at once might help with their acclimation. At least they'd have someone to speak Russian with.

Pyatt can, and has played on all 4 lines for the Canucks.
Shirokov is a dynamic offensive player, who likely would not be effective as a checking centre in the NHL.
5'10" 176lbs, shows he probably wouldnt cut it as a checker in the NHL, especially since many think Raymond is too small to play on the third line.
3 million a season for an unproven player is not realistic, it would be nice if he came to see what he could do, play on the Moose and play well, but it is highly unlikely he is willing to take the HUGE paycut to play in Winnepeg.
He and Grabner are similar type guys, Grabner is here...he deserves his shot.
If Sergei wants to pay his dues, Im all for bringing him over....but if he did, do we not think he would already be here.
can pyatt take face offs? no. can he skate fast?no. can any player throw a body check? yes. is 176lbs at 5'10" minuscule? not unless its all fat like welly
. is that enough to throw a check? of course it is especially if he line it up unlike pyatt who just uses his reach for everything
i pity a team with pyatt on the 1st line or even 2nd line. hes just not that good

Antropov isn't Russian.

Edler point prediction: 12 goals, 33 assists and 45 points / Edler point counter: 0 goals, 7 assists and 7 points.

How was Chubarov "horrible"?
He was put on the 4th line very young and given almost no ice time.
His points weren't amazing but he was a solid two way center.

'An intriguing mix of genocide and modern dance!'
