This past week the music world lost one of its true legends when Richie Havens passed away on April 22, Earth Day, fittingly...Havens was the opening act at the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival in 1969. One of my personal music heroes...he will live on through his music. RIP Richie Havens January 21, 1941 – April 22, 2013.
