I don't think MG is the one to blame. He did put together a great crew. But just like Nonis, and Burke before him, the players themselves, no matter who they are, somehow finds a way to underachieve overall and piss us off, as if the Canucks fans collectively insulted all of the players' families year after year or something.

we have two 80 pt guys and luongo

We don't even have luongo now.

Alot of people think are team is antiquated. Our defense is slow and immobile. They move the puck so slow. Our top 6 is no cup of tea either. Sedin sedin demitra is ok. Sundin welly and whoever is very poor till sundin comes around and drags his linemates on his back. But that might not happen for at least another 10-20 games.

where do u see the great team on paper ?

Get real the team is under 500 without luongo. That's what they are a less than mediocre team who are not good enough to make the playoffs.

We all new it at the beginning of the year. But we hoped luongo could save the day. Now we got Sundin to save the day.

1. We have 3 80-point guys if you include Sundin (I do).
2. Our team is antiquated? Do you even know what that means? While not as young as Chicago or Phoenix, our only old player is Sundin. Everyone else has a good 4+ years left in the NHL.
3. I'll agree with the point about immobile defence, although we are minus Salo. Just be thankful our D are not as offensively challenged as Atlanta, Calgary, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Ottawa, Columbus, etc etc
4. Our top 6 are average right now, good once (not if) Sundin steps up his game.
5. So you think this is a terrible team. OK. They have played terrible in the last week, whilst using 2nd and 3rd string goaltenders. Last time I checked the season is more than a week long, and Luongo is due to return, oh, in 2 days.

The way we are slidding down the standings we can't wait for long before something has to be done. I say give AV till the end of Jan, if the team hasn't improved after Lui is back for a few games then I think AV has to go.

I just saw AV post game and he is kissing up to the players now " I believe in these guys blah, blah,..." the day after he skated their bags off.
