I'm not as sure about the second round but Ellis or Kulikov would be nice unless someone falls lower.

2nd round only lets you choose 1, and Josefson is on twice.

Any top 9 player. Maybe.... umm Schroeder? or move up for someone like Braydon Schenn....
Ellis
Kassian
Despres
Glennie

Doherty (I just don't think you can pass on a 6'8 dman, especially considering when he enters the league our best defensive dman will be exiting)

Ryan Ellis first round then Ryan Howse all the way. P.G. boy all the way, that would be awesome!

PS: Chris 21 it's obviously based on actual picks that the Canucks might make. That's why Hedman isn't on there either.

Ellis & Barrie
QUOTE (Abaddon @ Aug 20 2009, 01:57 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I know some people are saying Cody Hodgson could be a bust but I think he had a great last year and could win it all for us so is there a chance he plays in the Olympics in front of the Vancouver crowd?
I think the best linemates for himw ould be Simon Gagne and maybe Mike Richards because they play similar styles.

QUOTE (Tank Hankerous @ Aug 20 2009, 02:06 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Why don't you just come out and say it? You want to have sex with Cody Hodgson.

QUOTE (100%_Sober @ Aug 20 2009, 02:28 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hockey Canads rewards players who do well at the international level. Hodgson was the best player at the WJC and has NHL all star skill already.
I don't think its to far fetched.
I'd rate the odds at 40/60 that Hodgson makes Team Canada.

QUOTE (Raging Wookies @ Aug 20 2009, 02:31 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I'd rate the odds at 90/10 that you were dropped on your heard multiple times as a child.

I'm looking forward to you going back to school. Have a wonderful grade 5.

1st round
Any top 9 that falls
Glennie (who could go before Schenn)
Depres
Kulikov
Ellis

Close behing Rundblad, & Kadri

2nd round
Olsen
Doherty
Ekman-Larsson
Erixon
Howse

and hope McNabb falls to the 3rd round he could be the next Shea Weber

As you can see, i think this team needs prospects on D, I would like to get Kassian or Rundblad/ Elliot if we (this current canucks team) starts playing to its potential and we get a pick around 16-22, I dont think Kassian is worth a a top 10.

However I could O'Reilly also being there at the 40th pick in the 2nd round rather than top 10 in the first, and he would top my list for the 2nd round (if we draft a d-man in teh 1st).

I like this it looks like the Sabres first 2 picks from this season Ennis = Ellis, Doherty = Myers. I dont like the idea of drafting Ellis and Barrie, you dont want to of the same type smallish guys, too easy to play against.

I pray that one of the awesome top 9 prospects drop to us like they did last year (Hodgson).

And hopefully we can acquire additional second round picks, some really good prospects will be there.

I think they are assuming he will go #1, and at pick #10, we have pretty much no chance to land him

The rate things are going we're going to end up with a far better pick than 10th.

If the Canucks pick Ray's kid Landon we'll never hear the end of it on 1040.

Im not sure if people are paying attention that this draft poll is assuming we have the 10th pick....6 people out of 28 think we should draft Ferraro @ 10, that would be a terrible pick at 10 with the wealth of players who would still be available IMO.

IMO the earliest Ferraro should be picked is 20, I think he is a second rounder personally.
