At practice today:

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Demitra-Sundin-Kesler
Pyatt-Wellwood-Bernier
Hansen-Johnson-Horichuk

Looks like Raymond is out again. He didn't play bad in St. Louis, however with Burrows on the top line, Wellwood will slot into the line up as a third line center. It's nice to see Wellwood back, he can score on the power play and we need Johnson's checking ability on the 4th line. I think Burrows is the exact type of player the Sedins need at right wing. We now have a pretty good one-two punch, a third line that can score goals and a pretty good 4th checking line. Gretzky's team better watch out because it's payback time. What do you guys think of the new lines?

In before tons of threads with people trying to come up with a name for the new line.

Burrows hustling and bustling for the Sedins might just work out.

I like the idea of putting Burrows with the Sedins. Since both him and Kesler were the most consistent players throughout the season, and Kesler being awarded to a second line position, its only fair to give Burrows a chance for some top two line minutes. I think he'll do fine on that line, given the ice time.

We need a good face-off guy on the 3rd line. Wellwood fits the bill. I have wondered how these three guys would play together for a while now. If they can play a solid two-way game, we might have a solid line-up.

If they have a bad game, half the people will blame Pyatt and the other half will blame Wellwood. This is Wellwoods chance to show that he belongs. I hope they have a good game.

Good, I like Wellwood better. Raymond tried to be physical but he is just too small to do anything. and atleast Wellwood has the hands to deke around another player. I am tired of Raymond's skate as fast as I can up the boards and pray I don't get stapled to them.

Wellwood may have been a liability earlier in the season, but his back check has been superb lately, despite his lack of production.

I'd much rather have him in the lineup than Raymond.

This talk about Luongo getting his 12-year extension, and how happy everybody is, is dumb.
I bet that someone, during the next season, will make a thread. And in that thread it will say "Trade Luongo, Waste of Cap Space". Once we lose a game or two, or if Luongo let's in an idiotic goal, that thread will be up in Canucks Talk.
So maybe you're happy now. But we all know that there are idiotic bandwagoners on CDC. And they will make that thread. So I'm gonna wait and see until it comes up. And then everybody will know I'm right.

First rule of line juggling club, you don't talk about line juggling club.

List of forwards who haven't played with the Sedins this year? Johnson, Hordichuk.

He's no Selke candidate to be sure, but how is he a liability?

He won't take a penalty and I believe the opposition has scored very few even strength goals when he was on the ice as well as being a faceoff specialist.

Burrows is getting rewarded for his good play. Hopefully he meshes with the twins and/or helps to simplify their game.

Wellwood will be less of a liability than Raymond simply because he can win the faceoffs that Burrows couldn't (although Burr wasn't that bad, either). That was the weakness of the third line -- the lack of a true centre. If Bernier can hustle on the forecheck, and Pyatt create some space, perhaps that line can be effective.

We should be shopping SOB and Raymond if AV isn't gonna play them might as well get someone he will play.

Maybe we could land Frolov for Raymond and SOB? probably not, however it would be close.

This is the lineup I was suggesting earlier with Burrows. I got flamed pretty good. I am glad Av was watching. This lineup is going to rock. Love the third line.
