I think he needs a few more years developing (d-men take a lot longer to come into their own, usually making big steps as 25-26 year olds). Guys like Bieksa (who was 24 i think when he first played for the Canucks) or Edler are out of the ordinary. Unless your a top 10 draft pick, chances are you need time to develop. But at 6'3 he's got the size to play the NHL game.... I think if he became the next SOB, we should be happy; but he's Swedish raised and probably wont be much of a tough guy.
He hits like a freight trAin. Big, tough mean SOB. If his skating keeps improving as it has he has the ability to step up and be a shut down d-man in 2-3 years down the road.
