Looking at the Moose versus Providence Bruins highlights I was really impressed with Alexandre Bolduc. He scored on a breakaway where he left five Bruins behind at center ice. He's 6'2" and he cleanly accerlated away from everyone to put away a nice goal. He seems to have really good size and speed, if he has hands I can only say I'm glad we've got him. Does anyone know much about him?

HE was Drafted by St.Blues
He played Major junior in the QMJHL 14 goal 43 point
Bolduc was called by Canucks to replace Johnson and he played his first game against LAMES!

hes played 5 games with us earlier in the year, 1 assist +1 and 4 penalty min. Looked good, but hes not ready yet... needs more time like hodgson.

If you were a true fan, you would have known that he has already played 5 games with the Canucks this year and you would already know quite a bit about him from watching these games, no?

Yeah, he's been called up before and played decently in a 4th line role. Seems like 3rd/4th line is his NHL potential.

Actually, I already knew about the call-up and how he did. I was hoping for something a little more in depth. I don't come here to pick up news I can get from the newspaper. But thanks for the pointless lecture.

At this point, Bolduc is playing very strongly for the Moose for a guy that wasn't really supposed to be "big" for the team this year.
He's shown flashes of offensive creativity and finish, and the Moose as far as I know have been cycling him on the 2nd and 3rd lines while giving him ample powerplay minutes.

It's a good sign for the kid when he gets called up to replace Jannik Hansen (and assumedly Darcy Hordichuk) for the big club ahead of someone like Jaffray!

Major thanks to VC for the sig.

Replace??? He would have to turn out like Kris Versteeg to replace it.
