I don't know how this guy takes the hits that he does out there on the ice.

It was very noticeable how much this team missed him while he was injured and I honestly think he's the most under-rated player on this team. He puts his body on the line, plays through the pain, and scored the occasional beauty. Pretty much exactly the type of player you want going into the playoffs. I see him being pivotal for us in the stretch.

He blocked the shot today and was in pain (left foot) .. 5 secs later he was alright and ready to block some more.

Clearly Underated.. a REALLY good pick up by Gillis.

i thought he was hansen at one point :S

-Hodgson, Schroeder, Shirokov, Connaughton climbing up the ladder?
-More Depth on D. :D
-More Gritty Forwards. (Players that can Bang bodies) :D
-Schneider finally playing some NHL Games? :D
-The "C" going to Kesler?
-Demitra, Bernier, Raycroft, Mitchell, Wellwood, Hordichuk Gone?
-Salo or Bieksa up for Trade.
-Ballard throwing those good ol' Hip Checks :D

Teams simply do not consistantly win games without players like Johnson. There are people on this cdc that feel Johnson was a pointless signing because he doesn't rack up the points, so it's nice to see you giving him the props he deserves. Johnson is exactly the kind of character player Gillis was talking about before the season began.....Great signing.

Good to see him getting some recognition. I agree he is probably the most under rated player on the team. Definitely an upgrade on someone like Byron Ritchie, way rather have Johnson going into the playoffs.

ya Johnson is definitely underrated.

I think he is good at the role he is assigned i.e. = P.K. and checkling line.

and man, does he block shots well!

must got a ton of bruises lol.

I disagree that he is the most underrated player, not because he isn't awesome, just because he seems to be rated quite high to me. I've seen sooo many threads on how "Johnson is the most underrated player" and so many people saying he is the most underrated, that I just don't think he is underrated anymore lol.
