I don't even know what to say. Pyatt has been playing very decent all year long, but I guess there is always a need for a scapegoat. This year belongs to Pyatt, last year belongs to Cowan? Pyatt hasn't been putting good number but atleast he doesn't have a bad +/- stats. He is very good 3rd liner, but not really a good top 6. Since Burrows and Kesler are playing 1st and 2nd line, Pyatt actually helps the Canucks on their third line a ton. He is also very reliable defensively and scoring here and there. After all, Pyatt's play is actually pretty decent all year long in contrast of Raymond. Yadadada he's young Yadadada. He has so much potential blah blah blah. I don't know what to say. Facing reality is hard for some of you guys that Raymond will need around 2 years more in the AHL. Thanks for reading? :P

True that, Raymond is out of place, but Pyatt knows what he's doing and does it well. Pyatt, well worth the money, re-sign him!

Last year was Pyatt. This year is either Raymond for not being productive or Wellwood for losing his game midseason.
Migrated to southern forums for the off season.

I disagree.

Pyatt's play has been decent the last few weeks but before that he was literally playing like utter CRAP! Earlier this season he was completely brutal. He was soft, slow, useless and is lucky he did not get put on waivers. Now that he's playing a 3rd or 4th line role he has played OK....but even then I have not seen anything special.

Hansen: 6 G 15 A 21 Pts. +7 Age: 22 1st full season NHL
Wellwood: 14 G 7 A 21 Pts. +4 Age: 25 4 years in the NHL
Raymond: 9 G 11A 20 Pts. +2 Age: 23 2nd Year NHL
Pyatt: 7 G 7 A 14 Pts. -2 Age: 27 8 Years in the NHL

I'd say Hansen and Raymond have more potential than Wellwood or Pyatt considering they've just started thier careers. Bernier although not the first line winger we'd thought we'd get is at least been useful even when he's not scoring. The fact that O'Brien is only behind by 4 points of Pyatt I think speaks volumes on how Pyatt is doing this season.

Pyatt has been better as of late. But overall I think he's like Jan Bulis. He has all the tools, he just doesn't know how to use them.
GO CANUCKS GO!

Are you a male gigolo? Because everyone either gets on you whenever they feel like it or are always on you.

or are you a girl? because that would be pretty hot.

I disagree.

Pyatt's been playing on/off basically how he's expected to. Sure the experiments on the first and second line were a bust but I don't think he was brought in here to fulfull those rolls. He certainly Isn't getting the playing time because Alain actually has a hard on for him.... it's just good ol' CDC the highs are way too high and the lows are suicidally low.

I agree, Pyatt isn't as bad of what people think.

Maybe it has to do with the hype when he first came to Vancouver.... the supposed Bertuzzi v2.0
A good season with the Sedins labelled him akin to Anson Carter... "he's not good, Dan/Hank making him good"

Finally, we see him sometimes uses his size and skills, like during the playoffs.... just he doesn't do it often enough...

Thats the way it is now. IF you're rich you go to the game. If you are middle class you watch in hd, if you are lower class you watch in sd. If you are broke azz you listen to the radio.

Scapegoat of the year? There's a lot of competition for that title this year. Seems like everybody in the nucks organization has been blamed at some point this year, including:

Luongo
Wellwood
Raymond
Demitra
The Sedins
SUNDIN
and of course, AV

I think I've even seen a Hordichuck-bashing thread!!

Yes Yes you have.

Some posters felt that Hordichuk is useless and shouldn't be in the line-up.

OMG exactly. That's what I've been saying.. so much for his speed.

They refuse to believe and instead settle themselves to "pylon" and his poor play.

Some were accusing me of being a puck bunny for defending him! HA!
You know you are on CDC when...

Another thing that pisses me off is how the fans do that stupid “ewww” most of the time lu stops the puck (even if it was an easy stop).

OK I just had an epiphany, Luongo doesnt have a cool nickname. King Richard took us to the dance. Captain Kirk took us to the dance. So we just have to get him a catchy name. 'Louie' couldnt do it <_< I think Mr Roberto can take us all the way B) Fits, hes very technical, hard working and doesnt rest. Thats the secret ingredient weve been missing and he gets his own song.
Domo arigato misuta Roberto. :D

PS That would be Mr Roboto by STYX for you youngsters.

LOL really funny comment

They don''t have Nazzy to yell at this year so it is Taylors turn, if he was not here then it would be Mason.

They need someone I guess.

Wellwood also qualifies
So does Raymond but he's young so we should go easy on him

If we win the Cup there will be no need to have a scapegoat!

I think we could field a whole line-up of our scapegoats this year:

Pyatt - Wellwood - Raymond
Bernier - Bieksa

Benie doesn't play D, I know. But we have had 5 different scapegoats this seaosn :o

We need a poll at the end of the season and award said player with some sort of trophy.
