50/50 - 8/10
Black Death - 4.5/10
Man on a Ledge - 6/10
Ran - 9/10
The Big Year - 5/10
The Dead Zone - 7/10
The Dictator - 5.5/10
The Hunger Games - 6.5/10
Winter's Bone - 7.5/10

Too many movies to give them a write up, but I've watched them all within the last few days or so. All for the first time as well (Including Ran). Yes I know that's a very random list.

-Old, but Scream 4 is one of the worst movies i've ever watched. 1/10. The '1' is for the odd laugh at the pointless and tired series.
-Fubar 2, also old, destroyed it, but it is also brutal. 4/10.
-Not a movie, but i'm watching the Breaking Bad series instead of most tv and movies nowadays. But it's starting to look like the season 4 finale should've also been the series wrap-up. Ding-ding-ding! 8/10

Season 5 of Breaking Bad has been lame as frack.

Abduction- 1.5/10, what a pos crappy movie. The title does not even make sense there was no abduction. The leading "lady" isn't even good looking and Taylor Lautner cannot act at all, I mean At All! Horrible writing, horrible
Acting and could not even be saved by good action, since all the action scenes were slow and predictable.

The only plus I am giving this movie was the Soundtrack the BMW provided in one scene.

Finally got around to seeing Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theatres. I myself am a HUGE fan of this series...and fully appreciate the humor contained therein...but I was only semi-impressed with the movie. I gave it a 7.5 out of 10.

Gamer - 2/10

That was one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. It was one part sleazy, and one part obnoxiously preachy. Couldn't stand it.

Pretty good. You dont neccesarilly have to watch the individual superhero movies ie.(Ironman, Hulk, Captain America... etc...) but it really helps you understand what is going on and you know the backstory.

Re-watched 'Akira' with english dubbing.

Man, that movie was f'd up, but a great anime classic that still holds up. 7/10

Recommend watching that, followed by the Trapper Keeper episode of South Park. 5/10

Haven't seen many movies lately. Been watching season 1 of Person of Interest. FANTASTIC show.

I've been enjoying it more than the last movie I saw...which also happened to be a Jonathan Nolan project.

Yeah, it's really gripping - and I'm not a huge TV-watcher either. I'm half-way through the first season.

Another show I discovered this summer that I absolutely LOVE is the BBC series Sherlock. It's more like a mini-series, since the episodes are a full two hours, and there have only been three for each season (so, six episodes thus far). You should check it out.

The Dark Knight Rises:

I seriously went into this movie with my expectations not being too high, thinking there was no way it could match up to the Dark Knight in any regard.. I was thoroughly surprised and was on the edge of my seat (I literally was sitting on the edge) the whole movie burning with suspense. It was great in every way and I for one loved the ending.

9.75/10

Spoiler

Edit: Oh yeah Anne Hathaway had me astounded... Was not a fan when I heard she was playing catwoman, but she was just perfect in the role, and I didn't see any of that innocent cute character she plays in most her other movies.

Cemetary Junction - 5.5/10

Worth watching on NetFlix and couldn't stop once I had started. Somewhat interesting, but a pretty inconsistant film. Seemed like it was meant to be a drama; however, since it was written by Gervais and Merchant, there would be the "typical Gervais joke" thrown in, which didn't fit the tone of the film.

The Campaign - 6/10

Lots of right wing parodying, a fair bit of it is actually funny. They have so much fun at the expense of the characters that by the end of the movie you just really don't care what happens to them.

21 Jump Street - 7.5/10

Way better than I expected. They totally nailed the change in highschool social circles since 2005.

Phantasm II

Old school, 1988 'horror' movie.....with the kinda gore and creepy cheesy soundtrack that the horror genre has forgotten today.

Take a trip back into the time long past when horror movies scared you, grossed you out, and made you laugh. Oh and the freebie T n' A were always a bonus.

They just don't make them like they used to.

7/10 for old school awesomeness.

(bts the 1st Phantasm was made in '79 and is part of the story-line, but you can watch the 2nd one and be caught up to the whole story in like 5 minutes, literally)
