Twilight 8/10

I read the book in about 4 days, I finished it this afternoon and was soooo impatient I had to rent the movie tonight.

I wasn't as disappointed as I may have suspected, but I would've loved to see a longer drawn out love story with more intensity in it.

Anyway, I didn't like Robert Pattinson OR Kristin Stewart until I saw this. Amazing... perfect casting for them.
As for the other 4 siblings... Jasper & Emmet were the only one's I sorta visualized as what was described in the book.

I'm starting New Moon on Wednesday.. I can't wait :D

“My argument against God was that the universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how had I got this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line. What was I comparing this universe with when I called it unjust?” - C.S. Lewis

The Kite Runner

8/10

It was in a different language, so that kinda sucked, but there were subtitles. It was a decent movie. I've read the book, and of course, it was better, but the movie is pretty good too. (Usually the books are WAY better than the movie, but the movie, IMO, displayed most of the important scenes and was done very well).

I'm surprised Twilight was given an 8/10. The movie was mediocre at best. The book was a hell of a lot better than the movie.

Wolverine isn't coming out for another month...

The Wrestler: 9.5/10
It started out a little bit slow, but it picked up really quickly and it probably rates as one of my top 5 acting performances of all time.

I thought Robert Pattison and Kristen Steward acted pretty badly in that movie. The special effects were lame, and Carlisle looked younger [and better] than Edward did.

So many of my friends tried to get me to read this book! I finally did and omg... I got hooked! I'm surprised that a lot of people didn't like the movie though.. I thought it was pretty good. I don't like Kristin Stewart, but can't picture another actress playing 'Bella' also I think that Robert Pattinson was a much better pick for the role than the other actors they had in mind. I thought it was a good movie! 10/10 for me! hahahahah

Subs > dubs

What's wrong with reading? And authenticity? Man I hate it when people dislike watching movies in different languages...

Pretty Persuasion - 7.5/10

Decent movie, just kinda kinky and sort of awkward at times. Acting was great though... It starred Evan Rachel Wood.

Question: As someone who has fallen asleep every single time he's tried to watch the first X-Men, and therefore hasn't seen parts two or three, would Wolverine be worth watching?

PHANTASM (1979)

"If this one doesn't scare you, you're already dead"

i'll give it a 7.5/10..

I got a high recommendation for it.. I'll say it's a good older thriller, mind bender, I liked it. The bad guy just didn't scare me, I thought I'd whoop him, that was the downfall of it.
