I was born and raised in Vancouver. Never left. Swore I never would. This year the company asked if I wanted to transfer to our Hawaiian location. Hard to say no to that. Only thing I was worried about was missing my canucks on TV. After 44 years you get pretty used to being able to see them whenever you want. Moved to Maui a month ago and havent missed a game. Maui is "Canucks" central for Hawaii. It's great to be sitting in Moose's in Kihei, and when the Canucks score half the bar cheers. Was interesting sitting in the bar last night...half the bar wanted the college basketball off the more of the tv's and were asking for HNIC on instead.
The Canucks have their fans everywhere now. Knowing my luck, now that I finally lhave left Vancouver it will be the year we finally bring home the cup. I will be pissed...but damn happy too. You will hear me in Vancouver screaming from across the Pacific Ocean!!!

I have that "gut" feeling this year!

Felska is an angry dip++++ who posts at wild.com. The Canucks could win the Cup and he'd tell you we lost in the big picture because we'd be drafting 30th.

No one knows till they actually get here. Is a pretty fun place to be...and if they have an off game like Saturday's, you just pay your bar tab and run across the street and dive into the surf!! Occasionally you just sit on the beach and watch for the unsuspecting women diving into the surf and surfacing with no bikini top on!

.....ahh...after 6 years I knew I'd eventually get a "fail", but I can live with one. Just had to get it off my chest....LOL.

This talk about Luongo getting his 12-year extension, and how happy everybody is, is dumb.
I bet that someone, during the next season, will make a thread. And in that thread it will say "Trade Luongo, Waste of Cap Space". Once we lose a game or two, or if Luongo let's in an idiotic goal, that thread will be up in Canucks Talk.
So maybe you're happy now. But we all know that there are idiotic bandwagoners on CDC. And they will make that thread. So I'm gonna wait and see until it comes up. And then everybody will know I'm right.

That's awesome. glad to see lots of 'Nucks fans out in the ocean. I'm surprised it isn't more kings or duck fans. or some other western US team. glad to see some Canadian love though.

it would be nice to see some picks of the bar during a game.

If ignorance is bliss, then why isn't the CDC a happier place?

Canucks, in my opinion, have the most international fans in all of the NHL.

I've read stories with fans from Egypt, Pakistan, Iceland, India etc.

Canucks nation is everywhere!
