The CFHL (Canadian Fantasy Hockey League) has lucky enough to be equipped with the best software to run are Fantasy league.
We're currently using version 1.1.4 of SimonT Hockey Simulator and the popular Web-portal (www.simhl.net).
Thanks to Canucks Network, we have also been provided with the best forum technology to run CFHL and make it the greatest possible GM Game out there.

- The CFHL runs off the SimonT Hockey Simulator and uses our very own, individually-made ratings package to ensure we are as realistic and as close to an NHL simulation as possible.
- Farm + junior leagues to track progress of prospects (Coming 2010-2011 CFHL Season)
- 57M salary cap heading into the 2009-2010 season
- Real prospects up to 2012 - starting from 2013, created players will be available with an in-depth scouting report.

Most of the communications is done through are forum. Experience with the STHS Simulator and sim leagues is preferred, but not required. If you are not a mature, active and knowledgeable individual with a willingness to cooperate (the majority of our staff is age 20+ and up) and have fun, then please don't bother joining are fantasy league.

CFHL wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for this forum and all of you members here at Canucks.com, June 19th 2007, a user here on canucks.com made a thread called: NHL GM/Player Fantasy which turned out to be the most popular GM Game so far on canucks.com with 231 pages and over 80,000 topic views ( http://forum.canucks...owtopic=164118)
Time drifted on and the game just came to big and to popular to be in one single thread. That's when Darren Alexander approached the commissioners and offered to supply a forum for the popular GM Game and Givenchy who had taken over from GonnaWin accepted. July 21st 2007, the GM Game moved to (canuckstalk.18.forumer.com).
The popular GM Game renamed itself to Canadian Fantasy Hockey League, and were at (canuckstalk.18.forumer.com) for a short period in time. The demand was just to high and everyone wanted to be apart of the greatest Fantasy Hockey Games of the current Generation. So owner Darren A, came up with the plan to create CanucksNetwork.com which helped CFHL a lot.
3 Years later, CFHL has completed 8 Seasons and with most of the members still here from the CDC days back in 2007.
The commissioners have decided to re-start the League over fresh and to begin the road to success again!

This league is really one of the best that I have been in. The sims go at a great pace, not super fast like some leagues do. The other managers are also really really nice and are all very intelligent! Come join the best sim league on the NET!!

Well thankfully I became the new GM of the New Jersey Devils
No you don't have to pay anything, but it took me very long last night to download it, (only the Leafs are left available if that's correct)

I will bump this on behalf of my fellow members in the CFHL. It's a great league, with competent and educated GMs.
The SIM software is easy to use, and we've just got a new forum layout (http://www.canucksnetwork.com/forum/) and I encourage everyone to go visit and be active in that community.

I have to agree with you guitarded. Not to advertise for anoter forum or anything, but the way CN.COM has it set up to be the home abse of the CFHL is phenomenal. I am truely amazed. The season is about to start for the CFHL and as the new GM of the Montreal Canadiens, I want to encourage everyone interested to come check out CFHL when you can. The season may be full of GM's now, but be sure to PM J-izzle (commish) or Darren (owner of CNDC) about becoming a member. The other Gm's are pretty cool too...kinda ahahah! But ya, hopefully see some more CDC people in the future as part of the CFHL.
