Too bad there's delay with the Tv and radio or I'll be listening to Shorthouse and Lardshy all the time. Shortty and Tommy are the best!

Crawford should do colour commentary for Canucks games. I wanted to punch my TV when he went on and on about us having too many men on the ice.

I would but the games on HD are not in-sinc with the radio feed.

I also would like to hear Jim call the game, he is the best.

I predict 65pts for Mikael Samuelsson in the 2009/2010 season.

Oh another note, Jim Hughson was full of awesome quotes tonight.

I don't mind hearing criticism of the Canucks or praise for the Hawks - as long as it's accurate. Simpson was being a little ridiculous tonight.

Agreed. I dont mind that at all, I prefer a commentator without bias but Simpson pushed it tonight.

I was waiting for him to talk about how great the reach around Kane gave him was.

Other Notes: I forgot over the summer how greasy Luongo is. When he "smiled" at Jokinen for the slapshot in the pie hole I never felt the urge to punch someone so much in my life.

Tonight was the first time that it really really bothered me.

One minute he's talking about how the Hawks' inexperience is so great. Then the Canucks score and he's like this is due to the Hawks' inexperience!!

On second thought, I could use PVR and line it up with Tom and Shorty. But should it be this way? CBC really screwed up. I want to hear Jim!

And yea Jim had some great ones tonight.

That's what I meant. Tv and radio airwave delay. On Tv you see the puck go in then couple seconds later on the radio you hear Shorthouse "he scores". So that kinda bugs me when it's not accurate timing. But yah I guess just reference.

Am I the only one who didn't mind him tonight? It's actually nice not to hear John Garrett's homerism for once, Simpson was bang-on on a lot of points. You people just can't handle the truth. He was simply stating the facts, you people just fail to realize the game from both sides.

Sig by me!

There needs to be a "no commentary" channel. If CBC can have a Punjabi-broadcasting channel, there should be a commentary-free channel. You could watch the game as a fan without anyone telling you what to think, and absorb the sounds of the game. That's how it is in GM Place. There's no reason why that experience can't be introduced to the home audience.

I didn't mind Simpson for the first couple of Blues games, but I think he has gone too far. Don't get me wrong I am not a fanboy of John Garret. It is very nice to take a break from that guy. And no I do not fail to realize the game from both sides, don't assume I can't watch a hockey game.

Not on CBC. CBC's feed is always half a second quicker than the radio broadcast. Usually, it's the other way around. It made me wonder whether or not the radio broadcast is also delayed.

Didn't watch the game tonight, but Craig Simpson is always pretty good to listen to.

You're probably overreacting.

most definitely not,

Simpson had his lips tightly wrapped over the Blackhawk shaft the entire game
