Glad to see that you have De Hann back to a more realistic spot. Don't know why you had em top 10 a week ago. He shouldn't even be in the top 15.

different post, imo dehaan is the #11 oa but i think he will go 18-25 in the draft
i really like de haan's game and in 10 years i think people will be saying how'd such and such team get him at 22 or so?

luongo win tracker- 3 down 47 to go imo lu will be the 1st goalie to 50 wins

i like panik but he is a huge risk imo. he could be a star but he also could be nathan smith. imo the team that takes him will have lots of prospect depth and be able to take that risk.

I'm confused about this order
I thought draft seeding was based on playoff performance but if so how is Anaheim picking at 15th and why are we picking before NJ? If it is based on regular season performance shouldn't SJ and Boston be picking later?
25th Mattias Tedenby- LW- HV71 (Elitserien)
55th Shawn Lalonde- D- Bellville (OHL)
85th Eric O'Dell- C- Sudbury (OHL)
116th Brodie Reid- RW- Burnaby (BCHL)
206th Mike Murphy-G- BellVille (OHL)
Trade: To Montreal- Mikko Koivu To Minny- Michael Ryder (UFA) and Chris Higgins

It's based on regular season up to #26.
#27 - conference loser (least regular season poinst than #28)
#28 - conference loser (more regular season points than #27)
#29 - stanley cup loser
#30 - stanley cup winner

Quote
-potential-1a or 2nd line C, 50-70 pt guy
-possible scenario- Elliott, holland, Werek,or Caron
nice prediction, but i think the wings may take tomas tatar, apparently their scouts have been actively watching him and its pretty clear that they have a keen interest in him, seeing as they were the only scouts watching him on a nightly basis. if they dont take him with this pick, (which im still not too sure how good of an idea that would be) then i think they will either trade up for him or wait for him to fall to them (which could end up being a big mistake on their part).

We already have pretty good centre depth, but lacking blue chip defensive prospects.
Go for DeHaan, Erixon or Elliot.
Assuming we resign the Twins, they will be 35 in 5-6 years, at which point Josefson will have developed to the point where he can be counted on as a 2nd line centre (based on potential) at age 22-23. At that point the Sedin's likely are either gone or slowed down, Hodgson is probably 1a or 2, and Kesler probably fills the role as the best shutdown 3rd line centre in the league. Assuming the Sedins dont resign. We are still pretty weak up the middle. That is unless you are counting on big things from 2007 1st rounder patrick White, and while I think he makes it to the NHL, it seems his offense hasnt progressed like expected and is to me does not possess the same skills as Josefson.
Just a little bit of devil's advocate.
That being said, I share the same sentiment as you, in regards to picking up a blue-chip defensive prospect. I think Sauve and Ellington are NHLers, they dont possess the MObility required to be go-to-guys. I would love to get one of those high end skating D's. Mobility on defense is definately an organizational hole, but by the time those guys develop it might not be. Nonetheless, you can never have enough Mobility on the Back end.
Rundblad or de Haan are the guys I have been targetting for a while now, but wouldnt be that dissapointed with Josefson who has drawn favourable comparisons to Henrik Zetterberg(IMO the most complete player in the league). I have also read that his game is more polished than Washington's Nik Backstrom at the same age, although he doesnt quite possess the high end offensive ability (but maybe that's all magnified by feeding pucks to Ovechkin everynight).

i have a few guys i really like, like de haan, josefson, shore, rundblad, erixon, werek, OEL(seen a few mocks where he is there at 22)
1- OEL
2- rundblad
3- josefson
4- de haan
5-erixon
6- shore
7- werek
for the 2nd rd if i take a d i'd likely take a forward and vice versa

luongo win tracker- 3 down 47 to go imo lu will be the 1st goalie to 50 wins

Agreed, if Josefon dropped to us, I wouldn't be disappointed.
