Oh yes, I'm aware of that... I think it was in late January, so not really eons ago by any means. Still, judging by all this new information, his future doesn't sound very bright does it?

He can come to the canucks anytime :P

Where IS Beech?

Story goes like this...Team is at dinner, Aliu throws a napkin with teriyaki sauce at Beach, gets all over his brand new shirt, Kyle throws a carrot at Aliu and then Aliu retaliates by throwing his plate at Beach.

Beach goes to clean himself up cause he was covered with teriyaki, and when he comes out Aliu tries to fight him and continues to try to fight him for the rest of the night.

He has talked to Tallon about it and Tallon said that it wasn't his fault and flew him down to Vancouver for games 1 and 2.

He's in Kelowna for the next couple weeks before he goes to Chicago/Boston to train for the summer.".... Taken From Hawks Message Boards (Prospects Forum)

Hodgson said he does not yet have full power in his right leg and is lacking explosiveness in his first couple of strides on the ice.

But Gillis and his coach refused to use the injury as an excuse for Hodgson's sub-par camp.

"He's been cleared to play for 10 days and we're in a time frame now where things need to get better," Gillis said. "He needs to show that he is ready and capable of participating at this level on a good team." (Vancouver Province)

regardless of that, he'll still be a 30 gol man in the NHL.

Aliu has been trouble since his minor hockey days. This story wouldn't surprise me at all.

Wow. It feels good to have somebody like this in the system after all these years.

Another gem from the CDC brain trust:

Also - he doesn't seem to care like Trevor did. He had better get hot quickly to preserve any of the dwindling respect anyone has for his abilities. He needs to prove that he's even a starter.

And to think he dropped all the way down to 10th.

Even Nonis couldn't have missed him.
