With Salo out last game we brought up Ossi Vaananen which i thought he was terrible. He was standing still last game and left the guy open who scored in front of Luongo in OT. When SOB wasnt playing to well this season Rob Davison took his spot and was a huge physical force. He fought, hit and he wasnt a liability on the back end. I dont understand why hes not in Vaananens spot weakening Kane, Toews, Sharp and Havlat. But with Beiska out tonight and the possibility of Salo again leaves us wondering what the defense roster will be.

If Salos in tonight I hope this is the D-roster:

Ohlund Edler
Mitchell Salo
O'Brien Davison

If Salos out it will be this:

Ohlund Edler
Mitchell Davison
O'Brien Vannanen
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=OSpkVFrWF3g
This is what Davison can do to the opponents.

very agreed. Davison was very good for us this year and might get under the black blobs skin just enough to get the oppertunity to rock his world. this series needs some good old fisticuffs and none better than Davison Hordi or Rypien i would like to see Kesler or Bieksa drop the gloves next round. We need to make these next to games look and feel like the first 2 games against columbus

Thanks to K.Welly for the sig

Train some monkeys on skates and you'd probably have a team worthy of contention for the Islanders.

Salo

STILL QUESTIONABLE

Sami Salo took the morning skate with the team this morning but his status for game five is still uncertain and will be a game-time decision.

Salo's missed the last two games after sustaining a lower body injury May 2 at GM Place. He missed one game in the Canucks first playoff series against the St. Louis Blues but in five playoff games this year, he has six points (3-3-6).

While speculation of a serious injury surrounded Kevin Bieksa after a noticeable limp in game four in Chicago, he maintains the injury not serious and will dress for tonight's tilt.

Mciver is on the Moose.

In order for the Canucks to call him up... it would need to be on a emergency basis.... meaning no-one healthy enough to play.

Thus Davison and Ossi come in before Mciver... if someone else got injured THEN Mciver would get called up and may play

there were 3 canucks around the hawk in front of the net
you can blame mitchell or ossi for not tying him up
but that would create even more trouble for LU
im sure he would of liked a double screen

Ossi is doing fine
i believe mitchell will bounce back with a big game

Salo should be making $1.5M, not $3.75M, especially when he is hurt. I like that Mitchell for Johnson proposal. Injecting youth into our defensive corps would be good for us. Johnson and Mitchell are similar players, Erik has more offensive upside though.

J Bo's a bum, Bieksa would mop the ice with him in most aspects of the game.

That is not true
AV should be fired and I started saying this at the start of the 2007-2008 seasons.

The Team we have this year can score but no we have to play the trap in the post season.

MG has been great but he has made one mistake keeping this lame Coach.

A one man fore check will not win in the post season. Forget your three minutes away crap it is a game plain that only takes one mistake to go wrong.

In the NHL you have to have room for mistakes anything can happen. How many goals have been scored on a bad bounce?

If a bad Bounce can take you out of the game your game plain sucks.

If we keep playing this kind of Game Congrads to the young Hawks Team for a Great year.

If we can tie up the coach before the game then play the game we played all year Wings see you in 6 days.
