looks pretty good. didnt notice the 2nd round at first glance.

Pasquale is too high for a team with Henrik Lundqvist!

I dont really like your 2nd round after the 1st 3 picks.

good effort!

Thanks for the input. To be honest, I don't know a ton about most guys past the 1st round, but after I did round 1 I felt like doing another one. And with Pasquale, I think he will go in the first round, and will be the first goalie picked. I had a hard time getting him nin there, and with the Rangers you never know who they will treat their star players. :P

eh, Ottawa isn't going to draft a Forward. Pretty sure Ottawa already has their eyes on OEL. I like how Detroit ends up picking the best players.

Thanks, RK.17 for the Sig!

I was 50/50 between the Sens taking OEL or Schroeder. WHo knows how I came to the conclusion I did.

And as for Detroit, I wanted to make it realistic. ;)

Why wouldn't they take a forward?

If the BPA is a forward, you take him.

good mock draft!

i agree with all of it. except that ryan ellis will go sooner.

to the above ^

tatar will hopefully move up but i dont think the nucks are in a position to draft him. there will be better players available.

i hope we get a russian.
thx to chizzle for the sig!

Maybe it's justbecause I have penises on the mind, but I'm seeing a penis in your display picture. It's also green, which is a little unusual.

As much as i like Jordan Shroeder. He is not the BPA available.

Bryan Murray already has his sets on a defense man who he calls could have the potentially to be better than Hedman. He has said that he has 2 defense man on mind. Every bit of that, leads to speculation that it is OEL.

Quote

Does this run alter your thinking about offseason moves?

Murray: We had won about three in a row, and my head scout Pierre Dorion came back from a scouting trip and told me, "I'd better go see some different guys." So he flew over to Europe to see a guy who is later in the draft.

Did he like the player he saw?

Murray: We think there might be another defenseman who could better than Hedman. He's not as ready, but we think he could end up being better.

seems like a hint, doesn't it?

If he thinks that OEL could potentially be better than Hedman, why in the right mind would he let him slip and draft Schroeder. His beliefs allows to to believe that OEL WILL be the BPA. Rundblade and Erixon are the only other two defense man who are even remotely close to what Murray is saying. None of the other defense man in his range, 1st round, play in Europe.

Wouldn't surprise me to see E Kane taken by Atlanta over MSP because of his grit and ability to fish pucks out for Kovalchuk.. depends on what Waddell's plan is for him I guess..

Its a 2 round Mock. I missed the 2nd round the 1st time as well.

O'Reilly is 33, about 7-10 spots too high IMO.

In your opinion!

Schroeder is #9 in THN draft preview, OEL is #13.

I think all that Murray talk is just posturing, trying to find someone to trade up for his pick so he can acquire depth to his diminishing prospect pool.

The are probably thinner at forward then defense anyways.

Its all hearsay anyways, when thinking they are talking about OEL. You never know, they may have found another Alex Edler in the weeds. Especially, when you see in the quote, that he will be talked about later.
