At the Memorial Cup, Jordan Caron for Rimoski looked big, smooth, fast and powerful. He'd look good in a Canuck uniform on the wing with one of our smaller centers like Hodgson or Wellwood. But If Ryan Ellis, Despres, Elliot or DeHaan are available when we pick, they could obviously fill the mobility need and we should take one of them. This draft seems so deep with talent in the first round, it makes me want the Canucks to acquire another first rounder through trade to stock pile there farm. If so they can take 1 forward and 1 defenceman, or even 2 high end puck movers if they wanted! One can only dream, they'd probably have to Trade Luongo or Bieksa to get another first rounder.

1st rd-1st choice- rundblad if he falls but i dout he does, 2nd choice- de haan I really think he'll be there and hope we get him, such a smart player, 3rd choice- shore was a hard choice for 3rd because i like morin's soring a lot, ashton's size and werek's skill and work ethic but I choose shore because imo he brings a little of all of that to the table and is a complete player, best skater of those 4 to imo

2nd rd- 1st choice- alex hutchings maybe the best skater in the draft, is a little small but has a firey edge to his game and can finish. his ohl coach said hutchings biggest problem is he doesn't have anyone to play with to help him, if he had a centre like hodgson he would score 50 easy. 2nd choice- tyson barrie- in the regular season i saw him a bit and he never really stood out to me so i was never that high on the kid mainly because of those couple games and his size. after getting to see a ton of him in the whl playoffs he really impressed me, yes he's still small but looked so poise on preasure situations and ran the pp like a pro. 3rd choice- thomas tatar another tough choice because i like brown's size, paradis's complete game and howse's scoring but tatar is a good skater with a ton of skill who at the world jr's seemed to will his team to be in games they had no business being in. only picked 3 whoops

3rd rd- 1st choice- Marcus Johansson(dout he's there), 2nd choice- Kevin Lynch have always loved his hustle and work ethic and his skill seems to be improving, 3rd choice-Erik Haula, was one of the best 16 year olds in the world last year and then went to shatocks and kinda got lost, still think there's tallent there and a is an ok 3rd rd pick, 4th choice- Cody Eakin love his speed, skill and shot, plays a physical game but is small and imo will be one of those guys who's hurt a lot, 5th choice- Viktor Svedberg, 6"8 220 and has decent skill and skating, would love to see gillis try and develop this kid, 3rd may be a tad early to take him
thanks canuckforever00

luongo win tracker- 3 down 47 to go imo lu will be the 1st goalie to 50 wins

my vote is for Rundblad or deHaan unless someone like Glennie drops to us which is highly unlikely.
Here is your absolute, no-one-close surefire Quote of the Week and early Quote of the Season favorite, courtesy of the Canucks’ Kevin Bieksa.

Bieksa, in his first game back after spraining his MCL against the Flames last weekend, played somewhere between 12 and 14 minutes, depending upon who you believe, in the FIRST PERIOD of Sunday’s game with Chicago.

Said Bieksa, when informed of the stat:

“It [expletive] felt like it.”

Alex Hutchings would be an absolute steal at 53, he's put up some solid numbers in the OHL as a 16/17 and 18/19 year old

34 G 34 A 68 pts in 63 games this year and was solid against Bellville in the playoffs with 3 G 4 A in 5 games.

1st round: David Runblad, Calvin De Haan, and Simon Despres

2nd round: Brayden Mcnabb, Karl Klingberg, Alex Hutchings, Dimitri Orlov, and Kellan Tochkin

3rd round: Gabriel Lemieux, David Valek, Erik Haula, Jimmy Bubnick, and William Wallen

(all of these in no particualr order)

I'm very surprised at how no one talks about Simon Despres on here. If he went to 22 I think he would be a great pick.

He was ranked top 10 or close to it at the start of the year. An average year, numbers wise, dropped him down, I guess.

1st: de Haan, Rundblad, Ferraro

2nd: Hutchins, Klingberg, Tatar (although Barrie would be good too)

3rd: Kvisto, Vincour, Bubnick (not familiar with many of these prospects)

i doubt it canucks should take him in the second.

my first round choices were Rundblad, Kreider ( he could be awesome but i think the nucks need a d-man) and de haan
2nd round was lander, hutchings and klingberg but i think gillis should pick haula here if lander isn't available becuz he won't drop to the third
third round was haula (even though i dont think he'll be there) bubinick and lemieux

1st -> de Haan, Erixon, Rundblad.
2nd -> Barrie, Klingberg, Tatar (Where is Roussel? He would have been my first choice.)
3rd -> Svedberg, Stastny, Myllari.

My dream draft right now would be:

1st -> de Haan
2nd -> Roussel (I know thats two D in a row).
3rd -> Either Stastny or Rodin, if they fall that far.
4th -> Svedberg. Something tells me Detroit will be all over this kid tho.
5th -> A goalie (Ortio, or maybe Lehner).
6th -> ????
Marian Gaborik = Marian Glassorik

Welcome Jordan Schroeder!

My dream draft:

1st: Rundblad/De Haan
2nd: Klingberg/Silfverberg/Barrie
3rd: Rodin/Bubnick

Yes, yes I know, a bit Swede-heavy. Silfverberg is an awesome name though :P.
