Why the hell are there so many votes for Doherty in the 2nd? I'd be screaming with frustration if the Canucks actually picked him on draft day with the talent still left on the board.

First round voted De Haan, Rundblad, and Ashton. We need a good puck mover or a forward with some size and jam.

Second round I picked Doherty, Tatar, and Michell. Only because I have read some good thing about them. Doherty could be a monster.

Third round.. who cares

Edit: All BPA(imo) of course.

Andrei Kuchin is definately something Gillis should look at...

Despite attitude problem (Russian reports... but knowing the KHL...) he was touted to be a top 5 pick a couple years ago and the next Bure..

I am starting to key in on a few of the defensemen that could be possibly in range for the Canucks to take at 22. Namely, Stephan Elliott, Calvin De Haan, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, David Rundblad, and Tim Erixon. Then, I'll rank them in an order that I believe should be on the Canuck's team list.

Probably because that would've been laughable to put a top 10 talent on a poll for the 22nd overall.

it's kinda funny that Schroeder wasn't even in the list because no one will think he will fall to the 22nd pick... this year's draft is funny...... -.=

AT 3-5 Million a season Luongo is a good goalie, anything more is robbery.

Who would you rather have for the money Malkin, Ovechkin, Crosby or Luongo? Choice is simple I am not picking the guy with the over inflated pads.

p.s.

And unless LUongo wins an award and or makes the conference finals, he was no better than Cloutier.

in fact, Cloutier went farther in the playoffs with the canucks than Luongo has.
