From what i've read he's in some sort of grey area in the KHL contracts where if you're a young player going off contract and the team your on offers a 20% raise you have to sign? At least that's what I read.

I'd be interested to actually see one of these contracts.

Yeah thats what I been hearing as well, I guess in a way he is a RFA. I don't really understand their rules, it would be interesting to see those kind of contracts. I wish in Europe they published their contracts like they do over here, really wish Cepr, Latvie or some other KHL follower who knows the league very well could explain it to us.
