UFCanuck
who said they did? they are both going to be great and they are already feeding off each other; they just both need to relax and start burying their chances. It seems like they are gripping their stick a little tight when they take their shots. Just reading a couple pages in this thread. It's always Hodgson vs Schroeder, it's kind of pointless. Hafizzle
Why does one have to be better than the other. They're both Canuck Prospects, who cares who's better. Especially at this point in there careers. It's not like they're in direct competition, it's a team. Both players will be great for the moose and then the Canucks one day. Completely agree man. I'm getting sick of all the Hodgson vs Schroeder comparisons and which will be better. We should all just be thankful that we have 2 amazing prospects like them. UFCanuck
Except Shroeder is still a center regardless of where he is playing. Versatility is key. You don't see many five foot 8 centers in the NHL. Kane played center before but now he's a full time winger.
nucks07
CoHo has the better playmaking skills for the center position while your right, Shroeder is a little small and is more suited for the wing.

UFCanuck
wasnt Gagner his center? Im pretty sure he was always a winger. He played center in the NAHL and played it a bit in London. But his size is best suited for the wing.
Trippbe
Jordan personally said in the preseason that he prefers/would prefer playing wing in the NHL as it's better suited to his size and speed. He seemed a lil intimidated at points in the interview at the concept of being a centre, and absorbing all the physical pressure that entails

And it's slightly ironic eh because most of his career he's been an absurdly good setup man as well. Hopefully he can turn into a speed sniper with the ability to make smart passes as well. A hometown example would be Morrison, kinda appropriate I believe.

Canuckitty
how's schroeder looking out there so far? He's doing pretty well. Right now he's in third place on points with four assists. Tonight he and Marco Rosa both scored in the shoot-out for Manitoba's SO Win.
DeNiro
Schroeder with some slick moves in the shootout. Looks like him and Sam Gagne get their moves from the same shootout manual. :D He will easily move into our top 3 shooters with moves like that. avelanch
He's still without a point in 3 games though. he started quick (4 points in 2 games) but hasn't registered again since (though he's put a couple dents in the posts). both he and Hodgson need to relax out there. it's like they are gripping their sticks too tight, though that shootout goal last night may help Schroeder's confidence.
