use www.audkio.net to download iPhone ready ringtones.
if you want to make your own, its quite easy.
go to itunes and right click on the song you want and click Get Info. go to Options and choose a start time and end time and click ok. then right click on the song and click Create AAC version. once its made, highlight the new 30 second(ish) song and go File-Show in Windows Explorer/Finder (Mac). Then, right click on the file and Rename it with an .m4r extension instead of .m4a then double click it and it shows up in itunes ringtones.

if you use a mac...use garageband eaasiest way in my opinion

Just to clarify. After I make the ringtone, do I just uncheck the start and end time so my file can play the full song again?

nope leave it as is, the original file is not affected

im stuck at what you do after you choose the times click ok. How do you create the aac?
